finally got shipping notice, will be here on Halloween.

Now just hoping it doesn't get too damaged on the way

get yourself a quality set of driver's in a case and it will be the best tool set in your house. I don't really put my set away that I got from Costco. Since my daughter was born a week ago I'm putting toys together and messing with my hobby stuff.

I planned on it, just wanna make sure it has a tiny one for stuff like this. The lit battery screw is tiny and in a tiny hole.

much anger in those eyes ready to fight !!! can you take a pic with cloak coco ? please thank's.......

With a little more futzing I think the SS outfit with the HT head and slim body would make a killer skiff version Jedi Luke.

Looks pretty good. I'm not trying to bash your idea here just voicing my opinion on accuracy but the vest on the sideshow is all wrong. The Medi vest is the most accurate. Also the collar on the SS jumpsuit is too tall. He looks like he was shopping in Thornton Melons tall and fat store.

Again if you like it that's all that matters. Not trying to put you or your pic down. But for me ill be using the Medi. It's more slimming and accurate.

Now granted, the first Medi pic the guy forgot to tuck in the shirt and the SS does look food without the vest. Especially with the real leather belt and German soldier leather boots. But that collar just kills it for me. I may end up picking up a SS Jedi Luke just for the saber and the belt.

Hell maybe it's just the vest. That ss pic looks pretty damn good. Especially knowing its all one jumpsuit and you won't have to worry about tucking the damn shirt in everytime you want to bend his waist.

And make sure to use the right bit and apply the right amount of pressure. HTs screws strip sooo easily

I was really trying to pass on this guy......
Keep saying I'm done except for robocop 2.0....
Already half eye ballin Carlito.....
And of course the whole...do I really need two Lukes in a small collection issue...
Anyway, I broke down today and used my $75 credit on this set, although I think the shipping charge is some chincy azzz shhhit sideshow....weak...
I only have Medicom ROTJ Boba fett and Greedo currently and wasn't really trying to add more star wars...although I had also been considering the Medicom darth Vader ilo of this.....
Anyway, I was born in 76 and can certainly appreciate the bespin luke nostalgia....but I keep saying I'm done after getting into this a couple years ago and buying 14 of them....
Does anybody know if a hot toys Vader will be made for sure or is it sideshow or Medicom period?...

Alot of people feel that a HT Vader is WAY off in the distance...However, on Sideshow's Facebook page, they kinda hint at the idea we will see the SS Vader go up for pre-order before Christmas...Im anxiously waiting to see how that one will turn out, compared to the SS ANH Vader...

HT Vader should be done. It's not like SS has exclusive rights to 1/6 Darth Vader. I don't foresee any company with a Star Wars license not making anything without Vader's dome on their product.

Well, Sideshow gets to dictate what HT can and cannot make, since they are sub-leasing the license. And SS isnt about to let HT step on their feet with their own Vader.

They have the exclusive rights to HT's Star Wars license. :wink1:

Hasbro has the 1:6 license.
Hasbro has leased the 1:6 license to Sideshow.
Sideshow has the 1:6 license.
Sideshow has leased individual figures they have previously made to Hot Toys to remake.

Since Sideshow is still making Vaders, they won't license HT to make one anytime soon. Why let a compete? If they could figure out how to do Chewie, they might give them an expection there.
