I posted this question on some other threads that are related but I'd really like to see a pic of the exclusive head next to a shot of the new SS offering with the original to see which one got it right.

You no get Vader head, or you kept that part out of the box for your personal and private enjoyment?
Yeah I checked out the 12 inchers but will they work the same. I thought everyone got the 14 inch talking Vader dome?
Anyone who has the ANH Vader and switched out the dome for the Hasbro one feel free to chime in.

Is it correct scale to HT Luke? It does kind of look like the HT helmet is smaller to fit the face more than the one that rolls over in the film.

Yeah. It seems like it is smaller to scale. But only negligibly so.

So nothing that really matters in terms of display, but just a general observation? Did it turn out as nice as the proto pics?

I do think Glen's was a bit nicer and more detailed (at least from the pics of it I've seen) but for $60 more (for CA residents) it is an incredible piece and does not feel out of scale at all. I'll need to put him next to Vader though as I never did a direct comparison.
I know I'm totally cool with paying an extra $30 or so by not buying through a retailer to own it.
