So I finslly just bought the bespin...quick question. Anyone framiliar with the hot toys bruce lee? Well I was really impressed with how durable and sturdy the body is with it. Not that any 1/6 figure should be given to a child, but would you say hot toys made the bespin luke with a similar level of durability? Or is it totally fragile like medicom stuff? Thanks!!!

Stuff has been known to fall of this figure in transit to the shop, that's how durable it is, loose magnets are almost an inevitability. :lol

But seriously the true type bodies are some of the best there is, but sturdy or not you would have to be ****ing crazy to let your kids play with it. Buy ten cheap figures instead and still have the money to buy the wife a meal at Mickey Dee's.

The first time you pick the figure(s) up out of the box it is wise to do so on a clothed table or on a beach towel so if one or more of the magnets or hooks fall off the belt they won't bounce around (and/or end up on the floor) you can easily find them and glue them back. Once you glue the stuff back it's one of the best figure sets ever.

Great pics. Really like this one, PERS are bringing it to the next level.

So um got this guy out to repose today, and his shoulders are awful. Can't get any forward movement at all. Am I being dumb, did something break, or is the body really this bad?

The body is quite good; if I recall there's a shoulder joint that has a lot of play up and down, which makes it difficult to grasp and manipulate the "rotator cuff" a short distance from it, that's quite tight. There is a little hindrance from the padded shirt but nothing insurmountable.

Google or check Ebay for a stripped down DX07 body to help you visualize that joint. It's really tight and bracketed by other mechanisms so be really careful with it.

I took his jacket off to get a look, and I guess it's just scary tight, because I can get a bit of movement backwards but moving forward is impossible, feels like I'll snap the shoulder. Haven't tried to see if it's the same on the clean version since I was only reposing the BD figure.

Still is probably my favorite HT set. Such a good value.

I had the same issue with the shoulders on mine. I removed the jacket and loosened a couple of the screws by like a quarter turn and they work fine now.

Careful taking this fig's jackets on and off too much - the fastener clips are really delicate and can get broken.

This is such a great set. I recently sold mine to streamline my collection a bit. I'm going to just have one look of each character. I don't know if I'll go for farmer luke, or wait for Jedi Luke. Just too many figures and not enough space.
