Just seeing this, very nice. You did a really nice job modding, futzing and posing them. That Vader is fantastic. Good stuff.

:exactly: a great pic and mod work.....

My critique isn't the mod work or the pic just a problem I have posing SS and HT figures together. Luke has the body of a 12 year old boy incapable of lugging around the Yoda pictured. Ben and Vader's bulk reminds me of professional defensive end and linebacker while Luke a high school cornerback......perhaps the lens distortion talked about in the trooper thread. Anyway a pet peeve of mine which doesn't take away from the pic or work you done. Great. Job....

Fiend, is your Vader shortened there?

They all look great but Ben looks like he has Jaundiced hands compared to the facial tone. And that beard's gone from silver fox to Centrum silver... he needs a little grey here and there mixed in with all the white. Overall though...:clap

Does anyone have a Hot Toys EX Bespin Luke for sale? Thanks.

EDIT***

I found an Exclusive Hot Toys Luke for $425.

Thanks.

Here's the main reference photo that Hot Toys are using for their Bespin Luke 2.0:

He looks like something fun is happening to him off-camera.

I've got a sealed Ex on the way to me. Spent more on this than any other figure but i couldn't resist now HT have the license and i want to collect the whole line as well as the fact Bespin Luke has always been my favorite Luke.

Do people prefer the regular or BD figure? From the pictures i like the regular much more and probably won't even display the BD version and weather stand but i'll wait until i get it and see. Never saw the point of 2 versions of the same character released together, they should have just had one and sold it cheaper.

How much cheaper? $300 for two complete figures was a steal.

Besides, without the ability to swap hair pieces, you wouldn't be able to do either of these classic moments:

This one's still unfinished

Congrats on the pic up. Back in the day $300 seemed fair and with everything it comes with today it seems like a steal. Anyway, I enjoy and display both head sculpts but if I had to choose.......battle damage. It is one of their attempts at a non generic museum type sculpt that works really well in action or static poses.

Battle damage likeness seems to have more Hamill in it; I display mine with the non BD hair sculpt holding an unlit saber hilt... Just looks like he's been tussling. There is great deal of subtle expression available with the PERS. Takes a little practice. I'm away from my pieces right now or I'd post a pic.

Thanks, really looking forward to it :yess:

@Pixel: Yes $300 now for 2 figures would indeed be an incredible price.

$300 for two was great, although it would have been nice if you could buy them separately. With Sideshow's new pricing, it won't be long before it's $300 for ONE figure...with no accessories.
