Thanks for all those, always good to see 'inbred hick' Luke, and I appreciate the DX hair switch photos.

I respect your obsession with having a Luke line-up because I'm planning on doing the same - already have three farm boy Luke's and have just managed to snag a DX07. Do you think there's anyway of getting a Bespin outfit onto a farm boy body? I know the footpegs are unique to the Bespin but I wondered if you could switch the lower legs or something.

Btw have you ever bought any of the knock off heads? I wondered what the quality might be like.

You're welcome.

I was wondering the same thing. I'd say it's pretty likely. The body is essentially the same except for the added neck with rubber upper half. But roughly the same size body.

I actually did switch the lower legs on mine to KO slim lower legs to make him a tad shorter and the regular foot pegs actually fit in the boots with a slight mod and still can be switched back to to the regular pegs and stock lower legs.

I did buy the KO DX head with Jedi hair. Sculpt is almost the same but paint app was terrible. Plus the eyes were not right at all. Just looked like a sad melted Luke that sat in a vat of paint thinner too long.

I just bought an ANH knockoff - but to repaint. I'll let you know how that one is when it comes in.

There is this beauty out there though, just waiting for the right price...

Just finished putting together my Bespin Luke from parts bought on Ebay. I used a knockoff TTM18, so the clothes definitely don't sit as nicely as they would on a DX07 or even a TTM22. But for all the money I saved I'm really not going to really complain. Total cost of the build was about $180. I'll post pictures later if anyone is interested.

I think, if it's the ceremony Luke, it was bad for its day. It's a little bit frightening. Definitely wouldn't want those eyes staring at me while I slept.

Alright, here's a couple of shots of my Bespin. If anyone wondered what the LO head looked like, here it is. Eyes are a little funky, but you don't notice at a distance. Also 2 different hands, but I have new ones in the mail.

haha...about the stormtroopers...one's a Hot Toys and the other is a $10 figure from Toys R Us. Note the subtle difference in quality haha



BTW the figure knocked over is a dude. Tidus from Final Fantasy. It's a junk figure from like 10 years ago. Really have no idea why it's out of its crate.

If anything, I would maybe lower his utility belt a bit if you're able to. On his Bespin outfit, it wasn't right around his waist right on the edge of the waistline of his pants; it was sagging a bit.

Man the TRU fig doesn't look too bad in the pics. Impressive for the price.

Ohhhhh, yeah I know Tidus; didn't recognize him....kinda looked like it was in black leather and chains.

The hands are a little big. I've got more on the way to swap them.

Unfortunately I can't lower the belt. That's one of the downsides of using the ttm18.

It's not a perfect replica of the official model but I'd say it's definitely a good alternative to a more casual collector who doesn't want to spend 500-800 bucks.

Ah I ordered some cold cathode tubes. I'm gonna cast some lightsaber molds and try my hand at making a light up blade. Never done it before but I'm always willing to try new things.

It is indeed a good alternative. It gets the job done for representing Bespin Luke while turning out well at the same time. Nice job!

A buddy of mine gave me one of those knock-off Luke Bespin heads he got from eBay. The eyes are the stuff of nightmares.

FYI, he didn't want it because the paint comes off really easily - like even if you rub your fingernail lightly.
