Gonna be contraversial here....

At least Hot toys might get this RIGHT this time. To be honest I'd love a complete Indy I didn't have to tweek in some way. I'm a little tired now of upgrading, customising, repainting & adding to the couple of custom Indys I have.
I've never been entirely happy with any Indy figure ever produced. And I have more or less all of them & many of the head sculpts done of him.
It would be nice to be able to stop. If they get this right.

Remember too they have Arnie Kim working with them now on Superman, his sculpt comes closest in my eyes to Ford's look as Jones. So we might get his take on Han Solo too.

This was completely unexpected news for me, I've been waiting on word of the Reeve Superman. And still am.

So it seems if you wish hard enough, things can happen. And all good things come to those who wait.

Trouble is, If Hot toys is producing figures for all the great licences out there, Collecting is gonna become even more expensive than it already is. So much more.

I can see Hot toys taking over on the 1:6 figure front and Sideshow concentrating more on Statues, busts and Premiums.

not attacking you...

but the problem there would be...????

Amazing news would be certainly in for a HT Indy and a few SW characters

Awesome news HT :yess::yess::yess:

Dear Hot Toys,

Please make me a line of John Milton angels based on the illustrations of Gustave Dore, and start the line with Lucifer. Everybody is geekgasming, and I'm not feeling it. I'll even start a petition.

love,

Another thing I will add is Trevor Grove's Indiana sculpts are amazing. It would have been great to see him work directly with Hot Toys on this.

I like Trev's Indy far more than Arnie.

Agreed. That Arnie KIm sculpt that pops up in customs seems dated. It's just like when Toys McCoy released the super expensive version years ago. It was cooll at the time, but there are much better ones since then.

Wow..blown away. Very exciting news. Starting to save now..lol

Hoping someone now sells me a nicely repainted / custom ROTLA scupt they now no longer need for me to complete my current figure hehehehe

Yeah but Arnie's customs are pretty old too. He has had plenty of time to improve

Arnie did that Indy years ago.

If it is indeed him sculpting this, we will just have to wait and see how he has honed it.

Not long to wait anyway! :rock

Yeah, Take this one for instance. He sculpted this in 2004.

Definately. Its just seems like whenever a new version of Indy is announced, the chants for Arnie Kim begin and there are many other sculptors out there who do this. For as much as this will cost, I want the best sculpt possible.

But it would be cool to see somebody who is an avid Indiana Jones fan sculpt it. Anyway I'm sure if Yuli, or Kojun or any other Hot Toys' sculptor got the job I'm sure it will look great

WOW! I was DEFINITELY not expecting this. :yess:

Time to dump the SS one's I have in the collection it looks like. :wave

I'd really like someone 'fresh' to do this sculpt. Rather than anyone else who's done a take on Ford before.
