True that - I wonder if the slippers are compatible? I'd guess yes.

The tailoring and finish of Enterbay clothing is top notch. Those would look good on the HT figure.

Don't think that would be a problem.

Yeah if i ever sell my ETD figures by enterbay it would be the body, head and hands only,i plan on keeping the Version A's outfits,Version B doesn't have anything more than the HT version have though.

I dig those straight pants, without the ankle ties.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

The Body doesn't look the same on Arnie's upcoming smiling Bruce, you can't tell for sure but judging from the pics you see the open chest,it looks more relaxed and not tightening his chest muscles like the ETD body.

I guess it doesn't matter for those who want to use it for the white shirt/sneaking suit options,as long as the body shape is the same as ETD it would be just as good i would assume.

Body looks the same to me.
Depends on the lighting. Check the DX shots in the last 10 pages of this thread. Depending on how the lighting hits it, in some you can see more definition in the chest, in others it looks smoother.

Pretty sure it is the same body they are using in the 'icon' figures.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

I think the thing throwing off the sculpt is the eyes. They look to be a bit straighter than they should be? The enterbay one has the perfect eyes, but I like everything else on the HT.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

^ I agree. While I think this is a rockin' figure HT have given us, I think the PERS is an ungainly solution for moving eyes.

EB's eyeball system = elegant
HT eyeball system = clunky and fragile.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Have you gotton it in-hand?
I feel the DX02 PERS is already greatly improved mechanics and have yet to hear of any breakage and this new design works well with even a regular head with hair.

Not having had it in hand I've based my opinion on what others have said (particularly of the DX01). I do look at the mechanics and wonder if it isn't grossly over-complicating what should be a pretty straight forward design feature. I also like how EB's set up allows fine tuning of the the respective eyes.

But your experience with the PERS is good to hear Geil, very reassuring. Maybe I'll love it when I get it :)

:exactly::goodpost: ....same goes for the DX03 MJ, I have never heard of anyone having problems with the pers on that figure and my own one works just fine.

Joker was the first figure to have pers so it's understandable that they did not get it right the first time , but it seems it's becoming better designed with each dx release, i mean it's what hot toys do:dunno, they are improving all the time:)

oh I totally have not opened my DX03 yet and totally forgot about it :slap

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

I hid it so well from my wife that it slipped my mind too along with the other two MJs :lol
Hopefully in another month or so I am back making cases and cleared up my own collection from dust and make more space then it will all be revealed :(

Hiding figures from the wife:lol ..how will you explain it when you finally take it out??

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Is that the same sculpt or is it just missing the slash marks?
The lack of slash marks on the face mean you can use that for every thing else instead of only one scene.

Hopefully some of those 'QC Fail's' hit ebay :D

Oh Snap! Well and that is why BNIB sealed means nothing these days!!

Hiding figures from the wife:lol ..how will you explain it when you finally take it out??

hmm... damn... :slap didn't think that far ahead... especially since I never had MJ and BL, it's going to be hard to pretend ..... "Oh really? NO I had these for ages..."

Its the same headsculpt - the BD one has a different facial expression - you can tell from the lips/mouth.
