That would peeve me too.

For a collectibles company, you'd think they'd know how ____ collectors are!

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

When I received my SS Kratos Ex statue both outer and inner box had a 3" puncture in it. SS replaced the inner box but not the outer when I shipped it back to them for a statue replacement.

Contacted toy anxiety about when the dx bruce will be shipping out, and they said that sideshow will be having this figure in there warehouse mid may, so toy anxiety will ship bruce mid to late may:gah::impatient:

I didnt want to pay $20 more with toys2, so i choose toy anxiety, but im started to regret that. If i went with toys2 i would of had it this week. Oh well:dunno

You can either get things cheap, or fast, but not both. Nothing new there.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

It's going to be hard to wait for this release. My first payment is in and the wait begins.
Sideshow's Flex Pay is a lifesaver!

Sorry man, BBTS is among the last out of everyone to ship their stuff. This can work to your advantage, but obviously it's a bummer for those wanting their stuff when almost everybody else is getting theirs.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Yeah, you have to request a "pack-out" via phone/email if you want them to slip it all into a bigger box. Worth it though, given how much these guys cost, to have them show up with packaging pristine. Seems a shame to me though, that a company called sideshowCOLLECTABLES, doesn't pack their items like true collectables automatically. They say it's to keep the shipping cost low, but given how much these items cost I'd think most people would gladly spend a few more bucks to ensure they arrive minty fresh inside and out.

Your making the assumption that everyone care's about the packaging - I certainly don't.

Not everyone likes their collection to look like a toy shop.

With the cardboard shippers I've rarely had a problem, and thats shipped all the way to Australia.

Well, I guess you don't have to ask for a pack out then. :dunno

Cheers.

To be fair, Rory said: "..most people", not "everyone" :)

This will be my first order direct from SS and I'm wondering which way to go. I've requested a shipping quote from SS for both pack-out and regular, so I hope they're able to provide both quotes and I'll make my decision then. Although I'm not ultra-picky, I'm wondering how much more I'd be prepared to pay for extra packing. If it's just a matter of ten dollars or so I'll take the packing, otherwise I'd be prepared to try my luck with just the shipper.

You are right on the money with your guess. It is only ten dollars for the extra packing. I'm glad they at least offer it as an option.

If it is ten bucks extra for international parcels too then that'll make the shipping comparable to other US sellers I've bought from. Sounds good!

This will be my first dx figure I can't wait to get mines in 5 days.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Should be interesting to see how much the EB Enter The Dragon figures will go for now.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

$17.51 here to Florida

I don't understand how it would cost me $14.21 to ship to N. Cali. It can't be only $3.30 extra to ship across the entire country, can it?:dunno. I'm even thinking about doing the pack-out thing. It seems like all of my packages get smashed up before they arrive. I don't thnk I can take the chance with just the brown shipper. It's ridiculous that Sideshow doesn't double box them anyway. I've actually had them replace two boxes for me in the past. You would think they would save themselves the hassle and properly pack the items. Plus it cost me $17.21 in taxes.:gah:

I really wish AE had all of the Sideshow exclusives. They double box my items and ship across the country for normally about $15.
