Was this DX supposed to be some type of "exclusive/limited edition" figure?

Reason Im asking is it seems very few U.S. sellers have listings for him and the ones that do price points match the H.K. sellers. Alot of them dont even have those preorder listings. Just wondering was this a rare DX limited quanity DX or something.

I believe the exclusives were released first. The regular ones should be hitting stores in a week or 2 (according to the local retailers in my area)

I needed to take Bruce from my office and I repacked him... but the box is not sitting right. Anyone happen to take pics of how he was packed in?

(before Nam says anything: no I am not selling him. Just taking him home.)

Its pretty complicated to describe but my guess is you're overlapping either the backdrop foam tray or the two mirror piece foam tray or both. If I remember correctly the (mirror) back drop piece has a half foam tray that levels that layer out. Hope this helps.

base and foam are perfectly flat. I am sure it has do with the back drops and the mirrors.

The FedEx guy came twice to deliver it but I wasn't home both times!

Has anyone tried, or want to try and remove the BD on the BD head sculpt, that is the 4 lines on each cheek?

I want to get a spare head maybe and do it... the pout sculpt has it's value without scars

I can't believe the background doesn't fit on a Detolf shelf.

I don't expect HT to think about those things, but it's like 2 cm too big. Kinda frustrating b/c now I have nowhere to put him.

I felt the same way when I first saw the specs of the BG's. I'll most likely just give Bruce 2 shelves worth of space

Yeah i was planning on doing that too. The back drop makes the figure that much better.

Agreed 100%. Displaying him without the BG would be sinful imo

I'd like to set him up on his own display shelf in the future but for now he'll get the 2 Detolf treatment

I'm not sure how attached you are to the background Slade, but I removed the cardboard section of the base, leaving only the black diamond shaped plastic piece. The two figures are slightly cramped when both standing on it, so it does help to pose both in such a way that they don't interfere with one another, but I think it looks good on a detolf shelf all by itself.

I think Rock83's picture shows that you HAVE to have to Bruce Lee body under the sneaking suit. Because it shows off that muscle body really well.
