Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Hey guys, what type of body do I need to order to display a clothed Bruce since I didn't get an EX? Would the True-type be good or do I need to get molested on Ebay for an actual 2nd body from an EX parted out?

Well you could wait for the casual bruce to come out and get that body:dunno
Thats what im going to do. Or you could just get the enterbay 3.5 body and mod the neck to fit the hot toys head. There is a review on youtube by dinolast, and he has the enterbay 3.5 body and it looks fine.

Ty for the reply lambo.

I guess I'll wait for casual Bruce, though how much do you think that body will go for compared to the price of the EX body now?

No problem man. As for the body, im guessing it will go for $85, because the figure itself is around $130

Ah I see. Last I checked the extra body from the DX (not the BD) was going for well over $100 :monkey4

Yep and its also the reason I can wait. Casual (suited) Bruce is a no brainer imo. Also a generic Lee TT should be a no brainer, without the PVC chestpiece of course.

Ron Burgundy looks angry in your avatar, Roy. Did some small-brained woman question his manhood?

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

did you peel off the protective plastic on your mirror and door?

Nevermind about the scratches. I was convinced that there was no film on mine b/c it seemed like the only thing that was pulling up was the entire piece of foil cardboard--but I FINALLY was able to get the film off.

Is the protective film only on the centre mirror? Or is there film on the two side inserts as well?

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

only on the centre mirror

I had film on all three of mine.

..the guide indicates that there is indeed film on all three components, but dang if I can get any joy out of fiddling with the side bits, they look plain as day devoid of any coating at all. I haven't tried sellotape as the guide suggests :)slap) 'cause I stubbornly thought that any film on those bits'd make themselves known well enough with some fingernail prising. How'd you get yours peeled off Buttmunch, did you go the tape route?

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Couldn't find any on my side mirrors either.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Well the instructions booklet never mentioned any film on the other 2 'mirrors' except the center one which was instructed to be 'peeled' the other two mirrors were just placed within the foam cutouts and YES, my box was mint and NOT opened before... this doesnt seem right. HT arent gonna put film on some mirrors and none on some others...

The corners on the bottom were already curled up so I just had to peel them off. Not a big deal at all. :dunno

Yeh, it's shown in the graphics - on the page that explains how to peel off the film, it indicates that this process be applied to the three panels.

The plot thickens. Guess I'll be unpacking my box tonight... I'm not even displaying my diorama, but I just gots to know.

So did we ever figure out why Sideshow lists the stand as an exclusive? :dunno

This is what i was wondering reading through this. :dunno I was looking on ebay for the stand when i thought i was just getting regular version because i thought i wouldnt get a stand. Which i thought was a bit of a silly move to not include one. Perhaps it WAS an exclusive, but then hot toys realised they may aswell include it with the regular.
Who knows.

On another note, my DX arrived this morning. A day early. And i literally dont know how to display him. I looked through everything, was very impressed then took the figure out, looked at it all again and just thought "im spoilt for choice" :lol i wanna use everything. Its crazy how good everything is.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Yeah i went for that too. Was sure thats what i was going to do before i got it, theni looked at the shirt and thought "wow, this is actually pretty nice." But then there's the choice of hands, weapons poses etc. I dont think i've ever felt this conflicted before with a figure, where i just felt like i need about 4 of them to display all the best options. haha. Will have to pick up the casual and suit bruce's now too. :lol
