Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

So did we ever figure out why Sideshow lists the stand as an exclusive? :dunno

Yeah, whats the deal with that? Wasnt the Chinese written stand only supposed to be available with the exclusive version? Also I dont see any cut out space in the actual figure box where the Stand can actually fit. So are we sure that the exclusive stand isnt being mistaken for the 'base' that comes anyway with both regular and exclusive versions?

Crypes I need a spare body! That looks pretty good, congrats!

This is what I got going on right now ...............

I agree, the backdrop is a must.

If you want to fit this into a detolf, why won't you cut some part of the wall above the mirror? I'd do it, i'd even remove that wall section altogether :)

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Mine is supposed to get here Monday and I can't wait! I got the regular version but I have a slim Truetype just waiting for that extra head. I figure as long as he is fully clothed it should look great. has anyone tried this yet?

Is there any word about whether Hot Toys has any plans for other Enter The Dragon characters? I would love to have Jim Kelly (aka Black Belt Jones) or Bolo.

Mine arrives Monday as well, and it's a regular. Let us know how a True type works out. If it looks good I'll grab 1 of those instead of waiting on the casual Bruce to launch.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Anybody have an Enterbay Ip man they can pose with DX04 so I can see the scale?

Hey mate, here you go - Bruce is a little hunched over and Ip is bolt upright, but even then you can get a pretty good idea of the height difference. Bear in mind that Ip is on a TTM16, which has a lower neck ball joint and hence makes the head sit slightly lower than the RM3. So if you have a stock Ip Man, he'll be taller again by a 1/4 inch.

When did you join the wait list?

I got on the list on April 26th. I'm just going to wait until Sideshow decides to cancel it for me. I've got a reg on order anyway so I'm fine if it doesn't convert.

I love your Ip Man pose! Mine is posed training on the wooden dummy but I might try yours next :clap

Why did you switch bodies btw?

Cheers mate :) Like a lot of the RM3 bodies, mine had loose joints and couldn't hold a pose. The TT was a must for me if I wanted to pose him without a stand. The slightly lower neck ball joint was an added bonus in making him a bit shorter - I found him a bit too tall, about the same height as T2 Arnie :horror

I see. The neck is very long, that's the first thing i noticed being he is my 1st & only Enterbay figure. How much are the TT bodies? I might consider giving it a shot if it's cheap.

You're looking at around 50 bucks, so it's not cheap when you consider how much Ip cost in the first place. You might be able to pick one up loose for less from a fellow freak if you post a WTB in the sales section - I'd try there first if you're not in a hurry to do the swap.
