I'd agree, the EX should come with two stands, one in the box and one in the little extra box with the extra body. Especially as the whole point of the exclusive is to have two complete figures. So really, you could do with two stands. I was already looking at buying another stand off ebay but now im thinking, "i should have just had two to begin with".

HT proves time and time again that it is best to wait for later batches (DCD DX Bats comes to mind) so its nothing new. But it does suck that the EX version was only a batch 1 kind of thing.

Haha, yeah totally. I do have a regular version on flexpay that i was probably gonna sell. And was thinking if it comes with the stand i'll have the extra one there. Still, takes the pi$$ a bit. So technically the Exclusive version will have an extra body but an inferior paint job on the head. Kind of makes it feel less...exclusivey.

Damn. Just saw that video. Bummer. Very useful video, but the guy refers to himself in the 3rd person
Lose-lose situation with Hot Toys--if you don't pre-order, then you probably have to pay jacked up prices. But if you do pre-order, you're more likely to get an inferior "first batch" release. Bah.

A high quality picture or video might suffice. His video is too grainy, though I can tell that they looked different.

So he's talking about the first batch released in HK... not the SS EX which is from the newer batches (hence better paint job). You guys us all scared for nothing!
Even though the video is grainy, it helps to do full screen to notice the differences. I could easily tell that my SS EX Bruce was painted like the "better" version shown in the video.

According to the video, the 2nd batch comes with a stand in the DX case. I'm pretty sure my Ex. was the first batch he's referring to, as it came with no extra stand.

Easiest way to tell is by looking at your figure and the pics he puts at the end of the video. The figure he describes as having better paint has bushier brows, which is pretty noticeable on the normal sculpt comparison. My EX definitely has bushier brows. The lips have a more definition and darker tone too.
The bd comparison looks pretty much identical to me, there are just subtle different in eyebrow shape.
