So, HT taking on a BL license isn't respectable? Frankly, no business ethics were violated by HT's recent move. which is why I still find it absurd why some people's arguments are merely based on the simple fact that HT makes a BL figure when ETB is doing it already. It really makes no rational sense.

no one was talking about ethic violations. like i said, there are always choices. you could pursue money just for money's sake, or you could pursue it while still maintaining your leading status. you could do something else new, or you could do the same thing someone else is doing, and at the same time. if you've been doing things the former way, and now you want to do things like the latter, then sure, it chips away at your respectability.

Hmm, I see your point, much like HT should lead and not follow. But honestly, HT can't lead in everything, and I would really like to see their take on licenses that other companies make. It, in no way, makes them less respectable. In fact, it would also mean that they'll lead in advancing their certain licenses. Take BL, for example. I don't want ETB to idly sit on their cash cow. I'm glad HT took them head-on with this. At least ETB would wake up and smell the coffee.

I'd like to see Enterbay counter with Arnie's Rocky figure. It certainly trumps any of Hot Toys efforts.

I grew up watching Bruce Lee movies when I was a kid. It'll be a treat to get this. I missed out on Enterbay's Bruce Lee initial releases.

HT's Bruce Lee looks good so far.

Man, Enterbay should do characters from the Shaw Bros movies. Imagine the 5 Deadly Venom, Toad, Scorpion, or Kid With the Golden Arm or even Chinese Super Ninjas. That would be so awesome. What you guys think?

THE Bruce Lee collectible to own this year is the 1/4 statue from Enterbay. It costs less as well.

We don't know that until we see both products in-hand. And hes only cheaper by a margin, negligible... and comes with a lot less.

From the way things are going, I would not trust EB's proto images.

We've seen the bust. Add legs. Done. We know what we're getting. You could also argue that you get a lot more despite no accessories just based on the size.

I have a feeling the body will look a little less awkward once in production... it has the same style of joints as the Wolverine body and that thing looks awesome in person.

Is 4-6 months enough to do changes on the body and the BD face? or will this just let it go as it is?

just finished watching enter the dragon again lol and now that i look at the figure, i think HT did a pretty good job of capturing bruce lee's likeness and expressions in the movie

ETBs Ip Man is available through their own website last time I checked. BBTS also has it.

I'd wait on this one... the last pics I saw of it weren't looking great, and it remains to be seen whether the actual figure in hand will look anything like the proto pics we've been fed.

Thanks and yea, I just read up on the Ip Man figure in another thread and people are not sure if EB's protos look like the final product. I'm going to wait and see how it looks like.

As for Bruce, this looks pretty good but i don't like BD on him; I'd like one w/o all the scratch marks!
