The retail is around $190 I think. But online retailers usually have their pre-orders even cheaper... probably around $175.
At the other end of the spectrum, I hope Enterbay starts pissing on HT's territory as well. Their talents are unquestionable, but if they just keep taking their sweet time on everything, then they'll not go very far as a company.
I think it is absurd. It's too sharply defined, even if they were going for the flexed look. Just look at the chest. They should really tone down the muscle definition, make it subtler.
And then there's this
Skin tone changes are obvious things they will get right on production... they wouldn't send it out like that!
They don't seem to care about the competition, they just stick to their own stuff and having fun, them making Prison break figures are their own interest i assume, they would go for bigger and more popular things if they really wanted to challenge Hot Toys.
They would hire more artists and get things moving faster if they wanted to,but they don't,so they give us the impression that they just enjoy what their doing and don't want to challenge anyone.
the change in skin tone upsets me. But I dont think its terribly over done, (the definition)
Sooo, why did they make Prison Break and The Godfather then?
Yes, they're having fun in what they do, I'm sure. But they are still a business entity. As such, they make figures to profit. They as much concerned about competition as other companies are.

Yes, they're having fun in what they do, I'm sure. But they are still a business entity their official name is a dead giveaway: ENTERBAY INTERNATIONAL LIMITED. As such, they make figures to profit. They are as much concerned about competition as other companies are.
Yeah, but it still isn't right. If they were going for a flexing pose, then that pretty much limits the body to that one flexing pose. Look at Bruce's posture in that pic you posted. He's hunched over, arms pulled in towards the chest, shoulder muscles flared out (the trapezius area), deltoids pulled downward to emphasize striation in the muscles.
The body would only work for that single pose, when Bruce is purposefully putting his effort into flexing hard. It doesn't work for anything else...and the body HT did won't even allow for that one flexing pose anyway because if you look at its shoulders, they are unflexed, and the figure can't hunch over because there isn't an abdominal joint.
It doesn't work. It's too overly sharp for what I assume they were going for.
If i remember correctly Their Godfather w/pics was announced before HT's Godfather, but released about the same time.
About Prison Break...well i allready posted my thoughts on that, and if they were serious enough they would hire more artists to get things going faster.
We didn't know that. We are all smarter now.

I see your point maybe something more like this?
Yes, but still, that means they ARE concerned about competition. Not saying that Enterbay isn't serious enough is such a slap to them IMHO. It's much worse than saying that they're not handling businesses well.
