I went through some of the thread and I saw some mention of having to wash something with vinegar before using. What was that about?

The figure is great so far but how the heck do you get that snap back on the waist of the pants? The plastic bends, making it more difficult.

Hi, just opened up my new DX04 with extra body, and had all sorts of trouble unzipping the zip on the stealth suit. Finally managed to do it and both figs look great.

Two questions:

1) I had to take off the pants of the main fig, cos the foot seemed like it was broken off so I took everything off to have a look. Turned out I just needed to push the ankle socket back in. But now I have the trouble of getting the pants looking OK, in particular the ankle area.

Is it jus a matter of tying the sashes around the ankle area and that's it??

2) The diaromas do not fit in the detolfs, so do most of you display in the open or in custom acrylic/glass displays? Or did you alter the height of the Detolfs slightly?

Thanks!!

Regarding the ankle sashes, yes, you just tie them.

I think some people did alter the dioramas, though I wouldn't recommend it. I think most just displayed the figure itself.

Your Bruce figure should be able to tie the ankle sashes himself, fresh out of the box.
(Of course, you'll have to swap his fists out first.)

Teaching him to untie the sashes takes a few lessons.:gah:

If he's unable to properly dress himself, you probably have a defective figure and should demand a disciplined replacement pronto ... :impatient:

Yeah, I paid $400 incl shipping for the DX04 Bruce and extra body. That was the cheapest I could find. Still, it is an awesome piece.

I really think the diaroma enhances the figures so much in this, so I think I'll look into how I can slightly increase the height of one or two Detolf shelves. Have the fig posed in front looks so much better than my blank wall behind the Detolf!!

I modified the height of my detolf to fit the display. The back of the glass shelf is held up by the display itself, while the front is propped up by some pieces of plastic I found in the house. I'd take a pic that shows how the shelves sit now, but my wife is out with the camera.

Here's a shot of it in the detolf I took a few nights ago. Unfortunately, I didn't capture the above shelf:

I love the added detail of beads of sweat!

Nice, just so long as you remember what is propped up where.

How could you get this tall diorama in the detolf?
