Exactly why I started buying these figures! Never bought one until recently, and started with a bang with DX04, DX05, DX06, DX08, and DX09 in one hit Now I really am hooked!!!

That's a hell of a way to start, hope you have fun displaying them all!

What's the Deluxe Jack Sparrow? You mean the one that comes with the long telescope? I ordered mine as a standard version, but they delivered me the Special Edition with the long telescope! I kept my mouth shut

There's two DX06 editions. One is the standard, and one is the special with the long telescope. Not a big deal, but the long telescope does look cool.

The long telescope version was exclusive to the US and Japanese markets. A big deal was made about it at the time, but you can count the number of pics featuring that telescope in the DX06 thread on the hand of a leper.

On a more thread-related note, I've been watching an ebay auction for an EB ETD vA hair sculpt. The bidding is at $37 shipped. Nothing so odd about that except that the same seller is offering a BIN price on the same version sculpt for just under $35. Seriously, wtf is wrong with some people?

I picked one up at auction for $25 a couple weeks back and it is so goddam cool on the DX04 that I just picked up another one. Full BIN price, but I'm not waiting around for another auction that may very well run beyond what I've just paid. I'm pretty happy about it - my DX04s now look like Bruce Lee.

BTW, how in the world do you get the stand holders around the figs waist??? I tried, but these are a lot harder than the ones that just sit under their groin area.

Every time I try to put it around the waist of the battle damaged fig, it pushes against the waist sash and it unclicks off and I need to wrap it again! Annoying!!

Do you bend them wider somehow and bend them back once figure inside?

The exclusive that was shipped with the DX04 comes in a box with a stand. The carded body doesn't.

Q: Any update on the new Bruce Lee figure of Arnie Kim? Is it still ongoing?

A:. Currently we will not produce any Bruce Lee figure because of the license, although there is already a current prototype head sculpt made by Arnie Kim. But who knows, license rights are not permanent, maybe one day, HT will do Bruce Lee again.

I carefully wrap the metal part of the stand around the waist then slide it into the base. After that, there is a bit of careful adjusting. I got the snap back on the sash after removing the shorts. It took a long time to get it snapped together. I'm never removing those pants again.
