LOL!!!

CHEERS!

Well, we got the Green Lantern license announcement on the 30th Anny of Raiders and not even a teaser pic of Indy.

Really can't mishandle an iconic license worse then this Hot Toys. Way to go.

Lucasfilm for not making a Blu-Ray Boxset this year of the Indy movies
And Sideshow for producing a load of ROTJ stuff last year during Empire's 30th

It's clear that these companies handling the Indy licenses don't care that much about it to put that much effort into it. That's been obvious from the get go when KOTCS was released. Look at what happened with Medicom, Diamond, Hasbro, GG, Koto. Even Sideshow. They promise all of these great products and then don't deliver. Hot Toys is no different than anyone else.

Heck, Lucasfilm themselves don't seem to care that much. The 30th anniversary of the release Raiders came and went last week without even a mention othe official Indy web site! Heck, the only real metnion I saw of it anywhere was on Rebelscum.

Kevin Flynn (who was tweaked to include a fantastic Bridges likeness) and the Tracker Pred are both out now. Indy could be out soon enough, hopefully with the right mods.

They also barely acknowledged the 25th anniversary of ANH.

Cause Indy didn't turn out to be the seller the companies and the fans thought it was.

Page 300 and still no update! At times like these, I do appreciate Sideshow's relative greater transparency when it comes to their products and if and when they are being updated. Any confirmation, one way or the other, would be helpful.

Six months since the announcement, two months before it ships. If there is going to be a rework on this sculpt, they are definitely waiting until the last minute.

You would think if there was going to be a rework, it would have been shown by now. Their distributors have pre-orders to sell - maybe a last minute rush makes up for it.

And has there ever been a case where HT tweaked a slightly off sculpt and hit it out of the park?

I remember the reaction to the Blade figure was that way. It went from lukewarm based on the prototype photos to getting quickly snatched up as soon as photos of the factory-produced figures were online.

It's a relief to hear that it does happen. So there could be a huge surprise in two months...
