Regardless of them being old or new, just because we're seeing these pics and they're un-changed, does that mean that it's the final production piece?
:slap
I seriously don't understand why everyone keep freaking out and jumping to conclusions.
We've got just a little over 2-weeks until this is going to be in-hand, and we'll know for sure.

People care because they're paying for a likeness of him that so far looks like it's a bit of a faliure.

I think they're new. You can see all of Asia freaking out over the Predators figures on the other side.

I was going to agree with you but after looking at the pics from Ani-Com in Hong Kong I am not so sure....

I've been staring at both pics for about a 1/2 hour now and, unless they have some hyper-obsessive compulsive employee setting up displays, I would say both shots came from the same con, just a different angle.

Either way, why woud anyone think that they would show us anything other than the same protos that they have been all along? SDCC, Ani-Com HK, STGCC, all had the same protos on display.

HT aren't going to unveil any changes and just ship it with the best likeness and most perfect hat ever....
......
......
......I hope.

Ok, I looked through all the rest of the photos in this album and there is definitely something amiss. A lot of the pics from the one the put up yesterday don't match the ones they put up today, but match the ones from ACG Hong Kong. Even some of the pics they put up in yesterday's album match ACG Hong Kong, but not today's.

I call shenanigans!

Exactly my point in my earlier posy. :lecture

Even if those pics are new, and I also have some reservations about that as well, why are people expecting them to be different than the protos we've seen all along? And then the doomsaying commences.
Everyone just needs to relax a little bit for the nest 2-weeks, and then we'll have some in-hand pics to talk all about.
Probably not in this thread though...:lol

One thing I do notice in the above pic is that Alice looks like the final one and less like she did in other con pics.

If this is the final Indy there's gonna be one major sh**load of trouble!

I refuse to believe there's not a way to make the hat sit lower. I'll figure out how to do it on mine within 20 minutes of opening it.

I am sure there is. The amount of times I see pictures of the Thor figure with the hat sitting on too high on his head, when you can push it down to look much better, is quite often.

Not this high :lol :

I get it now! :slap :rotfl

It must be me-:slap what is so awful about the sculpt in this picture???
Looks pretty darn inpressive to me- bad lighting and photography plus being shot through reflective glass...!

It's not the final Alice, that pic is from Ani Com Hong Kong, which was in July.

I cancelled this a long time ago -- there are better options that still aren't making the cut -- but I still keep up with the thread every once in a while.

Is there any reason to actually think they're changing the sculpt, or is this just a fan-fueled rumor-mill?

Hot Toys has a scheme going: They are predicting that everyone will cancel the item except one guy and the day the figure is released that one guy will hear a knock at his door. He will open his door and Harrison Ford will be there. Ford will kick the guy in the nuts and then Howard Chen will give Harrison Ford a big Publisher's Clearing House-like check for 5 million dollars and some mylar balloons. Bet!
