It's washed out and the eyes are in a really unrealistic direction.

I swear they are doing this on purpose.

I just get the feeling this is it. The outfit and paint job look more like production line.

If this is (please god, let me be wrong) the release version, it's the worst HT release of all time. And yes, I'm saying that based on one pic. But this pic is so bad, it's horrifyingly bad IMO.

I think I will be putting that Cairo headscarf on the figure backwards. Cover that monkey face.

Yeah, I agree completely. I dunno though, never seen a bad photo make something look this intrinsically bad!

This is just a really bad photo, coupled with poor placement of the PERS. Definitley not going to freak out over this one, poor, shot. Has anyone visited the link at the bottom of the photo to see if there are any other pics? Site is blocked here at work.

Now that YoNoSe has mentioned it I can't deal with it either. I could've been happy with the dodgy sculpt but the glarey hat is a real deal breaker.

That's quite a difference (and yes, I have seen Alice inhand), there was a time (well, with some releases) that HT releases looked better than their protos. Now everything costs a lot more and they are releasing too much. Growing pains for a company like HT. Too big too fast, and now it looks like we are going to pay for it, we have had crazy delays (almost every release), over a year in some cases and some patchy QC,
...but Indy may be the first major casualty. IMO.
