Has anybody ever taken a SS Indy head and put it on a TT body? I know that may sound simple but I can't remember seeing a pic.

Yeah, lots of folks upgraded the floppy Pro Indy came on to a Truetype. I think it's a straight swap but it's been a while. If you need to modify anything it's minimal.

Everybody loves a win, it's my favourite invention

If I end up with a crappy looking Indy and lose $250.00, can that still be considered a WIN-WIN

...if you include the part about flipping it 12 month's later for a tidy profit

For me it's a win-win since even the HT proto is still by far, the best 12" Indy to date. Could a better version come along? Sure. But I like the HT version alot better than my wonky-ass, big headed Sideshow figure.

If HT ships the figure as is? Fine. It'll still look better in person. If they tweak the sculpt and buff neck? Even better.

What the hell is going on here is the sound of collectors stabbing at the 'PO cancel' button as fast as they can.

Maybe that's a good sign. I posted my custom Trev Indy painted by SS on there and that's what everyone said too...

Actually, it might be an improvement... I think the picture is suffering from the "fisheye lens effect" the same as that Superman promo pic from the other day was that made the neck look so skinny. the way the eyes are posed is horrifically unfortunate, but if you look past that, the facial features do look more like Ford. I thought the face of the prototype looked like a weird Harrison Ford/Shia LeBeouf amalgam, this could be an improvement, we just need to see a pic taken from farther back with a better lens.

One worrying thing though, that shirt is really crude, looks production, the proto was much more refined wasn't it?

It's washed out and the eyes are in a really unrealistic direction.

I swear they are doing this on purpose.

The shirt and the coat worry me. The workmanship doesn't look up to par, it looks rushed.
