This is just heartbreaking...hot toys just dropped a turd in my punch bowl.

The hat position does look better, and good point about the shirt looking like a production piece. So it does appear that this is the final product. Still not crazy about the sculpt.

But boy, does that picture suck! Who is this person who takes these TERRIBLE distorted pictures right at the most crucial time when the figure is just about to ship, and then causes this widespread panic among us collectors?!? Someone take his camera away!

This photo is from ACG Guangzhou. My money is on it still being the same old prototype that they have been displaying all year at various cons. I guess we will know soon enough though.

It's probably a production piece, and I also think that picture is very bad. Face looks elongated. Howeve, I think the mouth's been modified from the proto and looks more like Ford's. I'm prtty sure when the good pics appear it will be better than this!

I have to admit when I first saw this pic this morning I almost panicked and hit the cancel button.

But Ive waited this long. Ive held out hope this long. Im going to go the distance. I will wait till I have him in hand and on my shelf posed the way I want before I make final judgement on him.

Not sure what the hell that pic has done to the sculpt. I'll admit, it looks like the mouth is different, much more like Ford. However.... big however... the PERS situation doesn't look to suit Ford.

Anyway, the next few days should be fun. More curious then ever now.

It does look like a slightly different sculpt. The PERS not withstanding, I see more Ford than the earlier pics-- though how much of that is my wishful thinking, I'm not sure.

I'm a bonafide Indy nut, so I'm keeping my pre-order, too. I also pre-ordered from BBTS, so I should have a bit bigger window between the in-hand pics and my order being shipped to reconsider-- should the worst case scenario come to pass.

All that said, I *really* feel that HT knows what an icon Ford is to so many of us fans and have done their best to improve this beyond what we've seen so far. But show us a decent prod photo already!!!!

Right there with you boots. Other than the eyes, which are obviously poorly aligned and catching a serious glare, I think it looks a lot more like Ford than anything we have seen so far.

I gotta disagree about the mouth, Wor-Gar. It could be the distortion of the shot, but his lips look way too full. Even blocking his eyes area so as not to distract and just looking from the nose down, his lips just don't look right. Especially the big full upper lip.

You ARE right about the PERS not helping at all.

Sad if this figure did not get the tweaks we all were hoping for... shame as HT should have been able to deliver THe definitive 1/6 Indy.
