Surprised they didn't go with a fixed neck body and maybe sculpted forearms... sort of Ezio/Barnse hybrid.

I agree, 100%. Sculpted upper body and forearms. The lack of articulation and fact that we'll never see the upper arms makes the body choice a real head scratcher.

On a totally unrelated note, I wish HT used the Superman body for Thor.

THis is exactly where the sculpt needed retouching. It shouldn't have been too hard to do. FIx the nose, fix the jaw..

That is definitely a good improvement,if it turned out like that,that would be enough for me to buy it.

I agree. Stupid question, but are the headsculpts pliable when heated? If so, I wonder if we can just tweak the jawline that way...

Yup, me too. Probably cost a lot because retailers are gonna break this down to help recoup the losses from cancelations.
