Usually takes about a week after Sideshow gets them in.
Much appreciated. Thanks for the 411!

Those two shots are great. Fantastic poses and lighting. I particularly like the pose in the second pic. The only thing that kills the mood of course is the head/face.
This might be the best I've seen this figure look so far. Nice. The post Deak refers to is pretty good, as well. I bet that ____ing PERS deserves a big chunk of the blame here.
no official comment from ht! are waiting for the storm passes?
Even sideshow no comments? they'll keep at home boxes and boxes of Indiana Jones ... maybe ...
Hot Toys is Super lucky they did a great job with Super, and that it was released at the same time. I do not think that was a coincidence. I believe they knew the reaction this was going to get and are going to remain quiet while milking the Superman love along with the Nicholson and Bats love they already got. The 5 people that are in this forum who love this sculpt and give it praises are far overshadowed by those who know what Harrison Ford looks like. The left nostril is too small, and the jaw is too big are well documented problems along with PERS looking unnatural. They will not address this issue at all but I do believe they will not make the same mistake again with a Temple of Doom Indy. Hot Toys is taking a look at cancellation numbers which far exceed anything they have ever released based on the number of unique posters in this forum who posted they cancelled. I don't believe this will hurt HT as they have redeemed themselves with the Reeve likeness, from the same sculptor (Arnie Kim) no less, however they would look better in the long run if they do not hide from this and try and make things better like fixing the sculpt and giving out free replacements. Imagine the security everyone would feel about their pre-orders. No cancellations if the sculpts are bad since we would know they back up their Hot Toys namesake with perfection. I know this will never happen but it is something they need to consider an option.
I don't think Hot Toys is going to have a big a problem selling Indiana Jones as you think. If you go to FB to Hot Toys Community you see a lot of positive reaction. I guess as many people who hate it, are as many who like it. Then there the ones like me who see good and bad in it and are on the fence. It has a lot of potential, but those eyes just kill the Sculpt. I haven't made a decision whether to order this or just buy the parts I like, because sometimes it ends up cost more that way. Or just wait and see if the do a Temple of Doom Indy.
Exactly, this Indy will sell, however, not as fast as they would like.
IMO, its not a homerun, but more like a solid double. And if HT ever makes a TOD or Last Crusade Indy with a better head sculpt, the Raiders version will become a hot item with people swapping heads...

Maybe the likeness is perfect after all!

You are aware of the word perception?
When somebody has a Rorschach test they don't all see butterflies.
You don't see Ford, fine, I would never say you are wrong to think that way, but it does make your or any others opinion superior to people who think differently.
I know different people who has written to ht in their FB page asking about their failur. Thei comment have been deleted...
Head sculpt entusiast have a lot of space there
There are MANY here that think their opinions are superior...How many times a day do some here have to post that they don't this figure, yes we get it that you don't like it...
When an opinion is right, then yes, it is superior, which doesn't mean that a wrong one doesn't have a right to be expressed. Objectivity is a concept that few people, especially on forums, understand and grasp. Please, by all means, would someone make a side-by-side comparison of a real head pic of HF in Indy gear with one of the incredible OMG figure head shots...? Even though the head sculpt shows some HF features under the right lighting and positioning (re=OMG's pics), it is all-in-all a FLOP. The figure, on the other hand, is awesome.
That is yours and and a lot of others opinion, but it's still debatable, so that is where your superior argument falls apart.
Great! Then buy it and enjoy it!
