$250 on Sideshowtoy.
$235 on toys2.

I think we really just crossed a line on this one. I figured on a price jump but wow. Bruce Lee was like $200. Now a ~25% increase in a pretty short stretch of time.

And it wasn't even a DX figure. Indy has a fancier outfit than Lee, a big diorama piece, and the license probably costs more (HT likely has to hand off a fee to both Sideshow and Lucas et al., which I'm sure plays some role in the jacked up prices here). So, despite all the complaints about the $250 fee, I don't think it is all that shocking.

this piece could of easily sold for $179.99....but the falling inflated dollar has caused inflation on goods and we will see continual prices going up...Gas prices will go up reflecting goods to go up in price aswell....mark my words...more complaining about higher prices on Hot Toys and Sideshow products are soon to come

Most Indy fans do not already own the SSC pedestal.

They made 9000 Sideshow Raiders of the Lost Ark figures total.

They only made 1000 SSC Belloq exclusives that came with the pedestal. Despite that, its still available on Sideshow's website and isn't marked 'low quantity'.

It is also still available on other websites as well and I believe there was a thread recently about a site selling them off cheap.

Doesn't mean anything. Sideshow could have 101 left in stock, meaning they sold 899 and the low-quantity alert wouldn't go active.

trying to figure out when I nitpicked the Hot toys Indiana jones? regardless of comma use,I made a point about its price.The figure should be much cheaper in price.

Right from ther start his face looked best in the Arab garb. That might say there's something wrong with the hair. There's also a lot of light on the face in this image, cutting down the effect of the deep creases running from his nose to mouth.


In most shots it's the dark eyes and those creases which ruin the comparison with the real Harry.

Criticising people's grammar on an Internet forum is generally reductive and pointless (unless it is a language forum, I suppose)

Edit: I don't mean to sound preachy, I just think trying to score points over people on the basis of grammar use detracts from the discussion.
