No love from me for that box but Bats looks good. Still not 100% that that's a production piece but I'd love to fly over to Hong Kong and show somebody how to futz a cape. Other than that he's tops.

I don't think so.
Of course it is. The retail box is behind him, and the stand has the emblem on it. I mean it could be the prototype, sure, but it'd be the first time they ever displayed a prototype alongside the retail box and final accessories.

He is on a stand which is on a stand. The emblem is on a small stand and the DX stand under it looks like the one we have seen in the proto shots. Many assumed that was a stand in base 'cos it;s nearly identical to the Dark Knight stands.

He comes with the Dark Knight stand with a yellow 1989 Batlogo stuck on top. That's what this photo tells us.

looks good even with the non-'futzed' display. not liking an emblem on the base, takes away the 'classiness' of a DX. hope we get to see more pics up close

Bah, the '89 Batman movie sucked and so does this figure.

says FDBMath who is anxiously awaiting the release of this and the Joker. The refinance on the house couldn't have happened at a better time.

Looked a lot heavier and more solid in the promo shots and the below video. Now looks a bit hollow (maybe they've added a wire to it?)

Cape is the same. It's just not fut'd. Is this some people's first run around the 1:6 collection block?

Not sure if the belt is a different color or just the lighting. All I know is the belt in the proto pics on page 1 is accurate. If they decided to match the emblem in the prod piece then that would be a shame.

I also find it strange that the look of the Mark II box and this are the same. :huh

So much nitpicking and not even in our homes yet :lol I think he still looks grand and can't wait to have him and Joker added in my collection!! Been waiting for quality figures of these 2 for a loooong time. :yess:

I actually dig the box, the figure looks amazing. TonyCheung ebay states will be in stock within the week. Nothing is guaranteed until actually in hand but Tony is pretty accurate therefore, I am down with this being production piece / box. :yess:

I've been pretty excited for this release, but those recent pics (albeit terrible terrible lighting) has me a tiny bit bummed. Looks to me we are getting an all rubber suit (fingers crossed QC has been worked out) as opposed to T-800 type material, and it also looks to be extremely limited in posing, not that I expected extreme poses possible anyway, but it's looks very static.

Again I do realize that OMG will have amazing pics no matter what and I'm interested to hear his opinion of it, but after Sparrow, and Supes, and Classic Pred this has a lot to live up to and could fall a little short.

I wouldn't bet on it, HT knows they can sell a defective Batman figure and people will still buy it! (DX02 oil and the 2nd Begins suit shipped with broken feet) the reason i cancelled the begins suit is fear of QC and it happened, so i cancelled this too, although it looks fantastic in that pic

Cape looks different :(

Looks cloth to me, instead of leathery like the Proto. Love the emblemnon the base, dunno why it's raised though, a last minute addition?
