I would have liked the base logo better if the color were less in your face like a dark gray or glossy black on a matte black base. That yellow is just too big and bright.

Like the start of the film. Recessed stonework insignia.

When is exactly the official release of this figure?
I have a friend in Japan. He could go to Toy Sapiens and buy me one. I hope he can find some Batmans there at a good price even though the Yen is so high.

The base does detract from the figure a bit but I still like it. Maybe it'll come with an alternate base.
As for the box, it's just a box, I don't see the fuss when it comes to the packaging, it ends up packed away out of sight for me anyways.

I reckon the figure looks amazing and I can't wait for it.

You're probably the type that has stickers plastered all over their PC.

I kinda suport this post.

I much prefer the streamlined look of a plain base. Tacky is the perfect word for the big yellow "sticker".

Yes.

Actually, I don't. But, I do have the original manufacturing decals still on the PC and my LCD TV. Just never bothered to take them off.

Some of you dooshes are too picky. Get it or don't. All this endless jabbering about boxes and bases. HT isn't forcing you to buy it. And if you choose to customize, all the better but stop whining like a bunch of beeches. I've waited 20 years for a proper figure based on this film and the box and base are incidental to the fact that this guy looks awesome. Can't wait to get mine.

But aren't these forums for the purpose of discussing likes and dislike of Sideshow and Hot Toys figures? :nana:

No one's complaining about the figure itself, and no one is going to pass on the figure because of the box or the base. But that doesnt change the fact that the base is tacky, and that's all we have to talk about now.
