Yes, but with items that sell out early if there is an issue you are more likely to get a replacement from for your item if you ordered through Sideshow as you get the figure a week or so earlier and you can speak directly to them versus having to go through a retailer. If you bought from a retailer, only the retailer can request a replacement/refund/exchange/etc.

I recently ran into this problem with a Ghost Rider figure; by the time I requested my replacement jacket (through Midtown comics) Hot Toys had stopped issuing them and I was given either a $10 refund or I could get a full refund on the figure.

oh really? didnt know that.

When I got my Bruce Lee DX it had two left forearms and AE contacted SS and got me a replacement. Same thing happened when I got my T1 Arnold and the zipper was missing. Got a whole new jacket out of it.

lucky for me i live 10 minutes away from VikingPlayground so I dont have to pay any s/h or tax,i just go pick it up when he calls me that they are in.:Alexi is a great guy to deal with,i get to inspect my boxes b4 hand to make sure no damage

Yeah... actually it looks like discounts are pretty slim for this guy... the combo at AE is $470... with $20 shipping. Still cheaper than SS, but still ridiculous!

Hopefully it's just the case for this license because at this rate we'll be hitting $300 figures.

The next figure up better be a fantastic price, to re-assure customers that HT isn't a trainwreck of pricing.
