I know I've seen a lot of these figures with the mouth face plate sticking out. Some of them aren't flushing with the face of the cowl well. I hope that's just collectors not pushing it in all the way.

That was one of the best features on the prototype, the way it looked like it was actually Bruce Wayne in a mask, not a swappable mouth.

Does anyone think a hairblower would smooth the cape? Just curious how smooth you can get that material.

was actually thinking about doing this myself, but if you just keep smoothing it out with your hands it looks pretty good. Will have to have a fiddle with the cape to try and hide the stitching. I was trying to emulate a few of the relaxed shots in the movie in regards to the cape.

Yeah, I've noticed that as well, mine is perfect I have to say, but some of the pics I have seen have an exposed skin edge on the right, maybe people just are not fixing them properly though?
:dunno

Dude, you succeeded 100%, your cape looks awesome.

Leave it alone :lol

Man, that's pretty scary. Am I the only one who thought this was a 1:1 model? I mean seriously. At first glance, that cape and everything it looks like it was life size. Compare that to autobotjohn's actual 1:1 display and man, no comparison. :lol

Amazing.

I thought it was a life size at first glance too!

Yeah there is no custom cape needed. Hot toys did a great job with this figure. Although it is rubber and will not last forever lets hope he does not start leaking like the last batman.

Knowing Hot Toys quality problems, you're probably right. Having a spare couldn't hurt.

Yeah, so far these last few pics from PJW, Rory and max really show off how great the cape looks. I don't say this very often but it looks perfect. If I were you max, I'd just leave it alone. It looks great the way you set it up.

I can't wait to see what this looks like with his arms outstretched holding the cape. I figured that Hot Toys would include wires but those rods were a GREAT touch. I didn't expect them.

Looks 1:1 to me too. HT really, really did a nice job with this one.

These in hand pics made me order 2 more. For a total of 5.
3 to pose with each face, one to sit in batmobile (whenever they are done taking their sweet *** time with it) and one to play with.

Yes, HT did an awesome job, BUT the reason why everyone loves it-THIS IS BATMAN, not some bobble head with a skinny neck in an ugly urban tactical outfit. This is what Bats is suppose to be, dark, scary, something out of a nightmare. No nylon gear ____ here.

Nothing will ever top this look.

So the suit is made of rubber?:monkey2

I can't see myself buying it then. I'm just not rich enough to spend $250 on a figure that's only going to last a year or so.

I am NOT a collector of comic based characters based on movies, but there is something about this figure that captures my interest. I think it is my perspective of recognizing Micheal Keaton in the Batman suit rather than a generic Batman. I hope by March I get over it or else I might find myself making the purchase. DAMN that’s nice!!!
