Don't forget, these are the same people who brought us the Nolan Demon Bats.

You know, that's a great point.I could see Hot Toys making a V2 '89 Batman with a similar burnt texture that they used on the demon Batman would.

I can see them making more Jack Joker variations (according to the article and OMG, it's a great possibility) but Batman? C'mon, would it really be necessary?

I could see them making more 89 jokers; However, after holding this 89 batman in hand I think there would be absolutely no market for a version 2, especially when you consider that they are making a 91 batman which isn't really that differentfrom the 89 version when you get down to it.

As much as I don't like the whole v2 thing... I would be tempted by a fully battle damaged Keaton Batman from 1989 (like in the pic I posted).

Batman's much cooler battle damaged.

I knew that comment was going to antagonize a fan boy to proclaim the two are actually very different. But come on overall aesthetically they are VERY similar. I've seen all the comparison photos and I understand all the differences that exist between those two suits. I love Keaton as batman so I will buy both but I have heard of a lot of people who plan to buy only one version b/c the two are just two similar.

Whether the difference is big or not, I guess that's relative to your interest. Sort of like the difference between Vader's suit between ANH and ESB.

Personally, I prefer the 1989 Batman suit.

And just so you know, I'm not a fanboy of Batman by a long shot, it wasn't the comment so much as the date that I had to ping you on.

Seriously though, he is missing a Keaton unmasked head. That's a pretty big accessory that HT is gonna force you to buy something else for.

he never had his head exposed in the bat suit in the 89 version so it is not "missing". I do believe the unmasked cowl and Keaton HS will come with the 91 version though to encourage collectors who had any reservations b/c they already own 89 version to purchase the 91 version anyway (also there were 2 pretty significant scenes in Batman Returns so a Keaton HS is pretty mush a must). I personally wouldn't care that much though if it didn't come with a Keaton HS as I just couldn't see myself displaying it like that, but that's just me.

In what two scenes is he wearing the Batsuit with his face unmasked? There's the one scene where he rips off the cowl when he's trying to convince Selina not to kill Max. I can't recall any other.

Bolo launcher.... missing from HT Keaton v1.

HT Keaton v1?? You guys are ridiculous. :cuckoo:

Also the capes and belt are virtually identical, Also the gauntlets, boots and even the bat symboly are very similar. The only significant change is the abdominal and pectoral region.

I was thinking of the scene when he pulled the claw out of his side, but I was mistaken he only had is glove off. Also I would point out that the HT 89 versions cowl looks more like the batman returns batman so even that will be virtually identical.
