89 bats looking more real doesnt necessarily equate that its better. Yup, its better on that account but as I mentioned, you have to take the other details under consideration.
As I mentioned, the highly detailed and well tailored clothes, the flexible dreads, the weapons, the steering wheel base thingie, etc...so many things on Sparrow that's just astonishing.

Basically, 89 bats does look more real than sparrow, so it is better in that aspect but you have to consider all aspects.
Not saying Sparrow blows away 89bats, it is very close.

It doesn't look 'real' like 89 Bats though?.

Agreed, but to judge what HT achieved, a costume like Batman 89 really lends itself to 1:1 scale realism, a rubber costume at both scales, minimal seams or other elements to give away scale. In this regard, I only really feel the cape earns big kudos for finding material with that texture in perfect scale. Jack is probably the best anyone could ever achieve turning a costume like that to a smaller scale, and he is better than a lot of similarly dressed figures that have been made to date, he'll he blows figures of himself from just a few years back out of the water.

The things HT achieved with Batman, I think come down to a will to work at getting things right, which I feel lacks with bale Bats, but I see Jack as a show of will and skill to pull off what they did.

Yes agreed, and the actual paint app on the skin is some of the best I have ever seen, it actually photographs like real skin. Amazing.

Yes, in daylight and flash lighting, HTs modern skin tones are freaky real, it's amazing how some of that is lost in certain lighting, I thought the paint took a step back on DX Jack when the early photos popped since hardly any used lighting that showed off the paint, same with Batman, and when I opened both, that's what caught my eye first, especially Batman, my brain went "damnnnnn" when I saw the apps on his face.

I know what you're saying, but the real 1:1 Keaton looks like a toy to begin with, so the transition to 1:6 is simpler.

With Sparrow, they had to figure out how to get all those details down to a manageable and cost effective way while appearing accurate to the source... "suede" boots, real fur, pleather belts with embroidery, real metal sword, the tiny ass buttons, unseen details like the belts at the bottom of the pants, the little loop for the button on the sleeve... there's just a ton of detail work that isn't immediately appreciated. And I didn't even cover the sculpts or hat or gear...

However, Batman wins on play factor. All that detail makes Jack a difficult figure to mess with once you get a good pose. But with Bats, there's nothing that's gonna get messed up aside from the cape.

So what you're saying is that Batman blows away Sparrow, did I read it right. :lol

Damn fine figure. The belt is a little snug, bunching up the suit a wee bit. Other than that, this guy is near perfect. Has definitely become my new favorite (sorry Blade). I'm using an extra DX02 Batman stand, cuz I'm just not feeling the included one. But other than the tiny dark knight logo, it suits him just fine. The DX02 and this guy look awesome next to eachother, like perfect book ends.

Good thing you don't have to choose between Batman and Rambo.

If it's Rambo 3 or M65, Rambo wins, but Rambo 2 or First Blood, Batman would win, superior product would outweigh character love there :lol more fun for me with awesome Batman than mediocre Rambo. Jack vs Batman is harder because the character love and figure quality are so close.
