Black Acrylic washes work perfectly. They also make it look a little more leather like on the inside. If you use decent quality acrylic, you can paint fabric with it and it won't crack or thicken the fabric.

Did, Mr. EcKo get high after all that?

Hahaha, yeah, it's not black. Not on plastic anyway.

I remember when I was a kid I'd put sharpie all over my beat up toys to make them black. Black Stormtroopers, black cars, black Batman figures.

I ended up with blue messes.

Yeah, I'd make sure I liked something before I spent $500 on memorabilia from it. :lol

Nope :wave

:lol:lol

Well I would imagine Ecko's hands were stained for weeks. That's hardcore. Sharpie is not really black either. :cuckoo::lol

Nope :wave

That was what i was going for with the coat . It was already purple and i wanted to add black to it but still make sure the purple was showing through it a bit . That's how the jacket looked in the film :wink1:

I didn;t want to dye it straight black because it woulda lost the purple i was trying to keep

DX 08 is Joker and DX 09 is Batman. That's their numerical designation in the DX series.

thanks for this hahaha i was tempted to buy this pair but after reading the last page of this thread made em decide i might just pick the tumbler up instead and stick to nolan batman.

Do what? I don't get it. How does the 08 Batman look like a Joker? :dunno

Yes, I was just kidding :). Just like Boba Ben said, its their numerical designation. Their "production code". So the 08 is the Nicholson Joker, and the 09 is the Keaton Batman. Just like the DX01 is the Ledger joker and the DX02 is the Bale batman. :)

Returns >> 89 :moon :wave

:horror:horror:horror

Friendship broken.

I wouldn't use any markers with alcohol content, not when it's touching rubber. Magic marker ink gets sticky on any non absorbent material.

What acrylics did you use Rory?

HELP!

The PERS on my batman decided to freak out whilst showing someone, my left eye is now permanently **** eyed! In towards the nose.

Suggestions? Unscrew the back plate or move the eye manually with something???

Not too fussed of it's permanently damaged as I had him with the straight forward stare anyway.

That blows! Mine is starting to mess up as well. So I just try m leave it alone for now. If you are going to unscrew the back make sure to becareful. I kind of stripped one of my screws. If this happens find a rubber band and place it over the screw so that it can prevent any other kind of damage. Good luck!

I know! It's like the second time I've moved his eye's too. Sucks big time.

The problem with trying to move the eye ball is that it's probably going to have to be something sharp which may scratch it.

I don't think I have any choice but to unscrew the plate.
