That is why I dont like "origin" films. They take up too much time building up the character. Thats why I like "The Dark Knight" over "Batman Begins". And "Spider-man 2" over "Spider-man". I mean, "Batman Begins" works for what it is and they did a good job, but Id rather see Batman in his prime with everything already established. I think thats why I like "BATMAN" so much, he was already "Batman" and was out there fighting crime. Being a fan of the character as a child, I didnt need to be told "how" he became Batman. I just wanted to see my favorite comic character fighting my favorite comic villain on the big screen. That was enough for me at 8 years old.
I think "The Incredible HULK" did a good job filling in the origin story with the flash backs. You dont need a whole 30-45 minutes showing how he becomes the Hulk. I think that has been the best "origin" shown on screen so far. IMO.
