thank you matrix69 for the tips on how to cut open the suit to remove the body. finally took some time to do the body swap and it turns out the mando body works just fine! I will say, one thing that i probably forgot to do was pad out the stomach area since the body is a little skinny, but it isn't noticeable. Also forgot to pad out his crotch area. Sitting on a shelf, I probably won't be bothered with it.

I realized what hot toys did that messed up the articulation so bad and it isn't because of the body not being ratcheted (though that would've been nice). The body itself is sturdier than I expected. Articulation is limited due to how hot toys used the fat suit. His fat suit is too thick on his arms for the elbow to be able to bend properly so its essentially a single jointed figure but that isn't enough support to bend/move the rubber suit.

Just gotta get a Jaxon cape and i'll be pretty dang content! Hot toy's capes are always crap.

Straight reissue? Same but new larger size? Reworked and also new larger size? A deeper dive into the Burton movies with more Jokers or finally Catwoman and Penguin???

Sideshow is also advertising a 1989 Batcave diorama. If HT actually ever puts Su j a thing up for preorder... Damn. Take my money.

Exciting stuff, hoping this isn't a one and done the way HT treat DC and more of them thinking they need people to have an available batman before they do more of the older villians. At least Catwoman

This is Hot Toys. This is 99% a reissue with a "new paint job" and with less accessories. Couple that with a new base or diorama and call it a day. :lol

Who wants Catwoman and Penguin anyways when you can reissue the same figure for more $$$.

Probably a reissue on a slightly taller body and improved paint apps but having never had the original I'll take it.

A Pfeiffer Catwoman figure will likely remain a dream sadly.
