What's up with the belt/emblem!?

Two different colors.

Matches. Two different colors.

Doesn't match. The belt and Bat emblem are the same color.

Which is correct!? Was there two different colored belts in the film!?

While the contrast isn't as strong in the Joker pic, they're still two different colors, the belt is gold, the emblem is yellow.

The transition from flying in clouds to flying on the Death Star with no atmosphere is a bit jarring. But other than that, I think it works. I like the "Iceman"/Batman cameo the best :D

The belt is also a mood ring.

Hate to bring the Nolan talk back in here :lol , but this really reiterates how bad it sucks that HT didn't do a new Begins sculpt for their Nolan Bats. This sculpt blows that one away as resembling the screen counterpart IMO, and the evolution of HT's sculptors from 3-4 years ago to now is pretty clear IMO.

So when Batman gets stressed because he has to pee the belt turns yellow? Makes sense.

Close but no.

There are actually tubes connected to his, well, you know and when he has to go, he, well, you know. The belt just fills up and later when he gets back to the Batcave he empties the belt when he opens up the belt capsules.

He repeats this process every month or so.

I completely get the reason for doing it. It's just a kind of a bummer. I'm a much bigger fan of Begins Bats than TDK Bats, but we're probably gonna get another DK Bats sculpt next year for the new film, and that's likely gonna be the 2nd really excellent, modern sculpt for it, while Begins Bats is relegated to a sculpt from early/mid 2008.

In any case, I think Batman '89 fans are fortunate that HT waited until now to do this figure. If we got it a few years ago, it just wouldn't be as impressive.

Even though it's new and as nice as it is for it's time, it's a shame it feels dated already. It's like owning the DVD then buying Blu-ray just without the modernization. Partially. Like buying an upscaled version.

Speaks for itself doesn't it.

If you didn't know there is a scene in Batman Returns in which Keaton is using the toilet while they film the scene. It's not hard to spot - he's sitting down, in full bat-costume.

CANCELED! After closer scrutiny, HT ____ed up sculpting those teeth in the open mouth sculpt. For over $200, they're not even close to looking like Keaton's teeth :monkey4:monkey4:monkey4:monkey4:

Is anyone gonna try and do a BD ( Bell Tower) Keaton with that bloody face?

Might be pretty cool looking. :monkey5

:nono he needs to be posed next to his 1/6 car!

Yes I know, but some guys are getting multiples and others might try this. The face is really terrific and there wouldn't be that much to it really. Scuffing the brow in the right places, some suit modding I gather but not that tough to do.

Also, I'm not sure HT will make a BD as they are including the bloody face with this.

I think the bloody face is enough. I never even noticed the battered suit in the film until people here started asking about it. As black as it all is, you can't even notice. Definitely not worth ruining a $240 figure over.
