Glad your enjoying the 89 Batman and Joker. They are among the best I have seen and glad to have them in my collection.

No way.

Batgirl = Trash
Keaton = Legendary

No, his appearance in Batgirl was relatively small compared to his still-upcoming appearance in Flash. The release date of the Flash probably has more bearing on this reissue's release than Batgirl does.
With Hot Toy's future release schedules in the years, there's plenty of time for a reissue. They'll probably put out this reissue leading up to the release of The Flash. And then a few months post-flash they'll start taking preorders for the suit from that movie.

(Personally I like the Returns suit better than the 89 suit or the upcoming Flash version, so I'm probably sitting both out.)

The Flash is still coming out in theaters next year and Keaton Batman is a huge character in that movie. The Batgirl scenes with him was a lame cameo at best.

Companies are already working on Batman figures for the Flash film. Lego has sets that are about to be solicited and McFarlane has two versions in the works (classic ‘89 suit and new the flash batsuit). If they follow the same pattern trickle out like the other companies, Hot Toys will be making atleast three figures from The Flash.

I wonder how early on HotToys will put their figures up for preorder? It would be great if they went up around now so they actually shipped when the film was released.
Rather than waiting 2+ years after the film comes out to get figures in hand…

I'd be very jazzed if this comes to be. I'll never say no for one more chance to actually get the 89 Batman right.

They’ve had to push them back since the movie got pushed back. I asked if there was an unmasked chase for either (since The Batman ones did) and they didn’t see that.

Too much time and money put into it, they’ve invested and have faith in the project still. It’s not going to end up like Batgirl.

Yeah you're probably right about that, still don't get what would be so bad about a batgirl movie that has a stellar cast of brendan fraser, michael keaton and jk simmons but we'll never know i guess

Zazlav has already confirmed that flash, shazam2, and black Adam will release. But I expect them to recast Miller.

Oh yeah thats kinda what i was referring to. Not a good look for your main star to be on kidnapping and assault charges lol. Can't see WB releasing the film without acknowledging that

Im going to not comment on that Miller stuff as, there is some fishy **** going on, not defending him, but im not ready to call for his head just yet.

I'm not going to say much about it either, except that i don't know what WB will do if they will do anything at all

Edit: ok so i read that it's absolutely happening and that WB is very excited so theres that i guess

My one question is why HT still can't get capes right lol. The DX19 is a brand new figure and yet the custom capes are still better

Great question. Their Batman capes have always been bad and most people here always have them replaced from the various custom artists around. Personally, I bought a 2nd HT 89 cape and cut the inner lining out and dyed the inside black. Looks good. As for the TDK version I just bought material and cut my own out.

Speaking on the suit, I personally haven't had any problems and haven't put anything on it to "preserve" it. I bought mine new when it first came out. Idk if too many people HAVE had those problems with this particular figure. Not like the DX02 fiasco from way back in the day. That thing was absurd.

Anyway, I'm glad you're happy with the figures. DX08 & DX09 are still my top favorites.
