They aren't increasing any limits at the moment which is for the best. Also I have only the one card. However, although I'm still spending like a mofo, theres light at the end of the tunnel. I'm focussing on my primary collecting interest which is Terminator and I'm not really 'missing' anything else thats coming out anymore. And eventually even I will run out of Terminator variants I care to make and when that happens I have to make sure I don't go buying other stuff just because I'm bored. My involvement with the hobby at that point will be the very occasional diorama opportunity that crops up and at long last a focus on the proper display of my existing collection.

At least you see the light brother cause I look at the list of Arnold & Sly figures to get from HT & EB this year and realize I wont be saving any money in 2013. :lol

Ah the 89 Batmobile. I had that on order once. I had to cancel which was hard at first but I think I'm finally over it. Cool though it is, I'm too casual a Batman fan to own something that expensive and space-consuming. I wish my other half would let me sell the Tumbler for that same reason. I'd rather have the money and space back.

I wouldn't mind that, Andrew.
Having that is a must have and worth having spent the money and the space.

I for myself too was pumped for DX-12 and Bane...but now...I no longer want them, as of now.
I'm way to pumped to get 2 DX-13's (second only partially, like the T-1000 procedure) and the 1/4 Endo and I skipped EVERYTHING, not even knowing in first place, only to make this come true.

Speaking for myself - not being a committed Nolan worshiper has been a real asset for me. I've ignored everything HT has done to date except for the BRJ. :yess: :lol

Still waiting for a DX Begins Bale though - love that suit.. but mainly because I'd like to see them improve on the chunky rubber suit & long necked cowl.. & I simply cannot stand the DK suit.

The Burton stuff? Different story..

As far as Terminator goes, I am a huge fan. I've just gotta pace myself with this stuff. I'm basically committing to the DX13 & hopefully a new 1/6 Endo if they make my dreams come true. I'd also consider the police shootout Arnold as well.

Oh ****. :lol

no delays for me thanks..i want this now lol..
It just seems lately HT not really putting out anything that gets me excited no more,,it's always Iron man,,batman,,avengers etc etc,,think im losing focus...so far i only have one thing on PO ,,this guy...dont get me wrong ,im not losing interest,,but c'mon HT do somthing new.

For this figure, I don't want a long delay unless it really is for the greater good of the product. However I don't think that's what it is. It seems lately, HT pulls the trigger fast to compete with other companies like EB and then when everyone gets excited and pre-orders, they issue a delay with the more realistic time frame of when this item will be actually ready. I don't mind delays sometimes either for the sake of saving money, but sometimes it works against you as well. Let's say you pre-order one figure that says out in October and another that says May of that following year. So you budget yourself accordingly. Then the October date gets pushed back to May. Now all of the sudden you do have 2 figures to pay for close together in time. So it goes both ways. I'd rather they be more accurate with their release dates so we can plan accordingly. With that being said, I'm all for last minute improvements so if they make the delay worth it, then so be it. I just don't like them doing it just for the sake of getting anxious and making sure the word gets out prematurely.

If they make improvements I hope that the jacket comes out looking a little less bulky in addition to the talked-about battle-damage head corrections.

Those 'leather' jackets are more rigid as opposed to supple though, so having it look more form fitting like movie Arnold is a bit of a challenge.

Another factor is that Arnold's posture / musculature is actually often relaxed in a lot of scenes, & the figure just can't replicate that well enough with the plastic body being as it is.

I think the MMS117 jacket is as good as it can get for the scale - and it looks superb as long as the paperclip in the collar is implemented well. I'm hoping the DX13 jacket will be more akin to that one than the DX10 one. The proto however looks a bit bulky and thicker like the DX10.

I don't know why but a spark of great 90s summertime memories just flooded in seeing that and all the NES magazines with the Terminator 2 games.

My early prognosis is...

Firstly, no doubt we are looking at a MMS jacket in that proto photo. The zipper is diagnol and the protos like the DX10, were taken before they had the leather ready.

Secondly, P. our good friend, has mercilessly beaten the crap out of the DX10 leather... without much ado... SO clearly HT is NOT going to waste expensive leather, just to work harder to weather it.

Having said THAT.

Hot toys cuts corners. What if the damaged jackets are just "cut up" like enterbay did... not really "worn"

Then they could technically use the DX10 leather, and just cut em up quick....

My vote / guess... we get plastic.... MMS jackets

Personally, I think Hot Toys has put too many rips in the sleeves or the DX13 Jacket and I'll have an extra DX10 one for one of the scenes that I plan on posting mine from.

I’ll be glad when this figure gets released.
