For me, that T-1000 head is essential. So the exclusive is a must.

But yeah, that price, ouch. Not surprised though, the value and pricing on these just keep getting worse and worse. There's no justifying it, it's just how it is. I've gotten used to it after Jack Joker, hell, even before that.

Beggars can't be choosers though. I *****ed and moaned about a T2 BD T-800 and it's finally coming.

I'll either rely on rewards points or just wait until secondary market prices come down. No real rush considering it'll probably be a ways off. Who knows though, depending on what I have or don't have, I could possibly pull the trigger.

Good points....moaning(as I do) doesn't change anything..buy or don't.....just really getting crazy if you collect more than one line.....tough choices continue.....

Pretty sure I'm gonna order this guy and just offload my old T2 MMS for. . .whatever I can get for him nowadays. $120 or so?

You will still be charged a deposit.

Also, you cannot use RP if you are ordering the EX version.

Reward Points can be used when ordering the Ex version. That issue was fixed when it was discovered over an hour ago.

Yeah, I quickly learned my attitude was going to change when people started laughing at the fact I was going to have a one figure limit

But still, haven't delved too far into the insane hobbyist lifestyle. Once these (DX11, DX13) are bought I'll have spent £900. Still, £900 to me sounds insane

Remember you can always sell your old figures and more often then not you would of made money on them as they go up in value.

At no point did I ever stop and add up all the money I was spending. And it got me into the difficulty I'm in today so you're wise to keep track.

These things are so expensive it doesn't take many to get you into crazy spending......and selling off older HT doesn't guarantee you a profit..just look at the FS thread and see what is really selling...

like I said before.. total ***** move on Hot Toys' part. I have to admit tho.. pretty good hustle. If they announced this any earlier, it would have cannibalized their DX10 sales. They made it different enough from DX 10, and spaced it out far enough to feel less pain.

Would have been nice to have a combined set. Not even including a 2nd BD body .. just a 2nd BD head, arm, and leg, similar to the Iron Man sets, a few guns and charge 350. I feel this would have been a more efficient way and have gotten more volume. 1 quality set, priced at instead of 2 separate ones.

That being said, I'm writing this.. I think this was a good business move on Hot Toy's part. 1 Super set with a mixed bag of accessories charged at 350 would be a steal for us buyers, but maybe not good for their business model. I think 350 for would be pricing themselves out and pretty much pushing buyers to EnterBay's 1/4 offering.

If they separate the sets, 1 clean and 1 BD they can likely maximize their revenue. Smart move for the company. ****ty move for it's loyalty base. Proof that no matter what they say, they're in business to make money. Pleasing fans just happens to be a bonus.

IF we're going with quarterly budgets,,,then im good.only thing i have on PO for next year is the city hunter pred, but im thinking of canceling him,,
( i got 6 other preds starting from Lost pred,wolf cleaner,,etc)
Then that will leave me open for more goodies HT may sneak out

Plus im currently going through all my 3 3/4 star wars collection and selling loads off,,,so the misses is happy too ( also the tablet im getting her with the received funds sweetens the news )
