Nice job A-Dev

I really am surprised HT hasn't revisited this figure. It seems like one that should be a likely candidate for a V.2. Perhaps with a major anniversary for the film?

Why would this figure be a candidate for v2? What else are they gonna do.

hasn't even been that long since this was out.

Popular character. Popular franchise. Clear demand for the figure even now. And they always can improve a sculpt, very few sculpts are a one and done perfect shot (save for a few, like the Mandarin).

There's still nothing really new to do. It would just be a blatant 2.0 really, I don't think that the demand for it is enough for a whole new batch of figures.

The only T2 look that they could redo is the T-800 earlier in the film or Uncle Bob.

Been doing some weathering on the clothes (some of which are MMS117 jackets, pants and boots)

I bought this:

and less extreme for earlier in the film:

Great weathering a-dev, the figure really looks better when he's more battered and scraped like that.

I've only been collecting for a few years and I can think of a hundred figures more deserving a 2.0 than this one. You have almost anything you can think of in the package and the sculpt is one of the best ever.

Damn, that´s looks effin´amazing!
Elevates the figure to a 1/6 enterbay, imo.
Nice job, man. Nailed it.
:hi5:

Great weathering effects a-dev. New level **** right there.

Excellent, thanks fellas. Really glad I did it now.

Thanks guys. Yeah I think the clean Uncle Bob is a more likely candidate for HT to revisit - this despite the fact they've done him twice already. DX13 is a little too recent and most people are totally happy with it.
Tech Noir T-800 also seems like a candidate for two reasons - they've only made him once and the headsculpt is small by today's standard. I mean if they made Kyle Reese now his head would be bigger than the existing Tech Noir T-800's. A complicating factor though is that, for many, those Tech Noir sculpts on MMS136 are better than more recent ones. So there's always a chance that a new figure would be a regression rather than a progression.

Love the thumbs up on uncle Bob, a-dev.

Yeah it's nifty, I like scene specific stuff like that. If memory serves that's a hand from the Odin (Thor) figure.

The seller still haven't ship my Dx13 yet. The wait is killing me already. haha Hope it look as good in person as it is in the pictures here!

Yeah, as good as the Tech Noir is it's definitely something that I would buy a 2.0 of, especially if it came with the T1 missing link head, you know the one I mean ;)

Sorry for the off topic post. But I'm after some advice. I'd like to try and remove the black war paint from this Commando but try to leave the flash paint under ok. I've heard people use some sort of chemical?

I haven't even received my figure yet, but thinking ahead. What is the best way to obtain a second body so i can display both head and jacket?

Has anyone had issue with the back of the head staying tightly locked to the front part? Mine bulges out if I dont hold it tight with my hand. Not a big issue but just curious.

The name you are looking for is Peter Kent:

I tried to find a Commando picture with him in make up, but had to settle for two other Arnold movies. Well actually Peter Kent looks a lot more like Arnold than the recent HT sculpts do. :lol
