Mixing sculpts never looks right to me because Arnie's head doesn't even look identical in each of his movies... Dutch looks quite different to Matrix... T-800 V1.0 looks different to Uncle Bob..

Sorry for the off topic post. But I'm after some advice. I'd like to try and remove the black war paint from this Commando but try to leave the flash paint under ok. I've heard people use some sort of chemical?

I can't help you here but I'm interested to see the results. The sculpt looks longer in your photo and that really helps the likeness. I suspect that's just lens distortion though.

Funny the way this was part of the specs. This part never happened. Not that we needed it on this figure.

Yeah, it looks like they were really wanting to just reuse the DX10 sculpt until they got a look at Enterbay's BD figure.

Isn´t it always when we´re opening up something of our fav franchises.

My first 2-pack, BD RC and Murphy were the most stunning to be honest.
2 figures, THAT quality...I was 5 again.

:lol

Hopefully you didn't play like you were 5 :wink1:

I often find myself saying that ''imagine if I'd had these figures when I was 10'' - well, I wouldn't still have them now if that had been the case, they'd be long since trashed, broken, degraded :lol

But yeah, for me there's nothing quite like opening a new Hot Toys T1 or T2 figure....even if I ultimately end up criticising it after a few weeks, months or years. That first day is always magical. Even the MMS117, in fact, maybe especially the MMS117 being as it was the first proper Hot Toys Terminator figure we got.

Uhhhhhm....noooooooo :lol

Yeah, that´s a damn shame. I had Playmobile, and lots of lego, old Transformers and He-man and almost everything is lost, broken, painted, or sold. :thud: :crying

The 117 is magical for me too. I still look at him in awe. He holds himself well against the others, especially courtesy to the paperclip trick.
:wink1:

^I remember opening that for the first time. It was a joyous day.

It was great, though the most memorable arrival for me was the DX10. I went to a convention for work that day and got home early so I had hours to unbox, take pics, and set it up. lol, I would have love another short work day for my DX13 arrival.

I like to get kinky with em ;) Lmao jk. My bed gets alot of light so I took pictures for there. I have him up for sale in the sale thread. I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER NOW AND I FEEL THE PREMIUM POWER.

Has anyone had issue with the back of the head staying tightly locked to the front part? Mine bulges out if I dont hold it tight with my hand. Not a big issue but just curious.

It's probably how you got the head positioned on the neck ball. You probably want to dip the head forward slightly at that join, and it should clay flush with the head. DX10 has that issue, since it's got that Silverback Gorilla neck.
