Guys i have this 3D artist who did a hawk grenade launcher.
He tried to have it printed on shapeway but the cost is prohibitive around 100/170.
Does anybody have a cheaper option?

Absolutely love this figure. It is one of the best done from Hot Toys. My second fav figure, next to my 1/4 scale Boba Fett. A lot of extras and the best likeness of Arnold. So much detail. An essential figure.

I know. I liked that you kinda knew what you were getting with a DX figure: deluxe figure with as many extras as you could think you'd get with said character. Take the newly released Warrior Alien. A DX treatment could have given us an alien egg, facehugger, more elaborate diorama.

Agreed I love the DX line, I understand it may have been more a labour of love than a profit thing but it's what endeared Hot Toys to us. The fact that they showed some real enthusiasm for the characters. When I opened my Commando figure I saw all the accesories and thought, "blimey this is close to a DX minus the stand". But others just feel a little anaemic in the extras department. Imagine a DX Iron Man, Captain America and Thor? Or some classic icons like Beetlejuice, Dutch Schaefer (predator), Vader etc
Yes I know most of those will never be done but just imagine. How awesome would that be?
I heard through the grapevine the DX series was cancelled but is that official. I never actually heard/read it from HT. If they have cancelled the line its a shame. They really are the top of the charts in terms of quality

I think it is cancelled. I mean they have figures that are basically DX as you mentioned but just without that label and perhaps the same "full package" of a DX. I really do enjoy the DX figures I have : DX13, 89 joker and 89 batman. I think we've seen our last DX unfortunately.
