I was going to say, "yeah, well Johnny, they didn't show a Keaton figure displayed at SDCC", but then I remembered Alex Murphy was a complete surprise too. You could be on to something.

There aren't really any iconic Bruce Wayne looks in Batman Returns though. He never wore a tux, he never wore anything stand out that would make an interesting or iconic "guy in a suit" figure. Batman '89 on the other hand had the Batcave Bruce in turtle neck and jeans, Bruce in his nice Armani duds, Bruce in a tux, etc.

Wayne figure with tux or blazer/turtleneck, glider attachment with an extra set of arms that are to be displayed with it, an extra HS with the ripped cowl and bleeding, not really all that many accessories (DX09 has that covered) except for maybe the remote controlled Batarang, and an EX in the form of a BD Selina Kyle HS.

Kinda like Citizen Kane or the Grinch. Everyone is out for the holidays (Alfred is even out store shopping) having a good time and awaiting the Christmas ceremony while Bruce is just brooding in his mansion with no purpose . . . till the signal.

The reason why he's just sitting there is a cool one. Len Wein speaks of a story on the awesome doc 'Batman Unmasked: The Psychology of the Dark Knight' on the TDK bluray. Bruce is in a boardroom meeting, just staring out the window, waiting for the sun to go down. Soon as it does, he's like 'I' gotta go!' Bruce feeds on the suit, taken to a higher extreme by Bale in TDKR but Keaton has it too. Sitting and waiting for the signal to go into the night.

I'm happy to see a Keaton figure for those who want him, but personally I'm not bothered about anything except a BR Bats plus glider.

I'm hoping for a RoboMurphy/MurphyCop-type 2 pack version. I just hope they include an unmasked/torn cowl head.
