It ain't coming up for preorder this month/this year.

Hot Toys have been revealing new items every other week. John Matrix was just released. Hot Toys have teased Darth Vader, Ben Kenobi and Hot Rod Iron Man. There are four weeks left, no Batman.

I say August/September 2015 for Batman Returns . . . or never.

The sculpt is new and HT finally nailed Arnold's likeness.

As much as I'm dying to see this released I smile when HT releases figures from franchises that aren't comic book related.

Completely new?

I doubt it, more likely just tweaked an existing sculpt rather than started again from scratch.

Yulli sculpted all the previous Arnies, and the new one is done by someone else. If it were an old sculpt tweaked for a new figure, Yulli must at least get credit as co-sculptor.

Should get credit. Not must. And there are a dozen factors involved.

Also, even if it was a new sculpt, the tooling could be adapted because of the likeness being so close. And tooling is where the major production costs come from. (Tooling is industrial molds basically, just more complex and metal in case anyone didn't know)

So even with a new sculpt the tooling can be recycled/up cycled. Same with the body. Guns. Knives. Ect.

Really? Can tooling be adapted just like that? I know they could put in a separate piece, like hair or whatever (if there is a separate hair piece) but not finesse the likeness in the tooling. How do you alter metal?
