How long ago was this announced as the DX? I completely missed it.

I don't believe we ever got an official announcement. We saw the prototype at SDCC last July, eyes looking over to the side and standing on a DX base.

The original announcement was as DX, 1/6 and 1/4.

As others have mentioned - that list only shows products that have already been announced. It does NOT mean that something can't be added. In fact, there are even a couple of figures that are missing that we know should be releasing in 2015 such as the IM2 Tony Stark w/Arc Reactor and Raiden. Also, while nothing has been announced I think it is pretty safe to assume that more Marvel AoU and SW figures will be announced and released on 2015. So this list means nothing in terms of whether Batman Returns will or will not be released this year. If I were a betting man, however, I would bet on an announcement sometime in the next couple of months with a Q2 or Q3 2016 release.

Sean Young was originally cast as Vicki Vale, but broke her collarbone while filming a horse-riding scene with Michael Keaton. The scene was subsequently written out of the script. Tim Burton suggested replacing Young with Michelle Pfeiffer but Keaton, who was in a relationship with Pfeiffer, believed it would be too awkward. She went on to portray Catwoman in Batman Returns. Jon Peters suggested Kim Basinger and she was cast.

And others said it too. That is an objective, unbiased statement. It is neither unduly optimistic nor is it pessimistic for Batman Returns happening in 2015.

Man I've never before seen such absurd pettiness on this forum as I saw from that other guy over the last few pages. He so needs to be right that for his sake I almost hope the figure doesn't come out till 2019. Who knows what being wrong would do to him

I'm just trying to think of what could possibly have been said to make him so indignant about this. Because on the surface it looks like he's raging about someone speculating that Batman Returns figures could maybe perhaps happen in 2015. *Gasp!* But that's clearly ridiculous so I assume PMs must have been exchanged in which, at the least, disparaging remarks were made about his parentage, maybe worse. That is the only possible reason any ****s should be given if someone expressed mild optimism that these figures will come out in 2015 and you don't happen to agree.
