Im new here realy, but do popular threads get closed? Isnt what i jus done the whole point, posting...stuff. Unsubscribe, its a feature

Yes posting "stuff", but "stuff" that is relevant to the topic at hand. Ideally people come in here to discuss the Batman Returns Hot Toys Figure, hence the title, not Iron man or Neca. You want to talk about Iron man or Neca, go somewhere else. Oh and I am not subscribed to this thread, never would be.

This is a topic about Batman, I just pointed out that this is a topic about Batman, and it's made by Hot Toys...which I also pointed out. Who here is interested in this figure?

/threadopen

well at least i got my dx09 :monkey2

Indeed, so many people here did not grab 89 Bats when they could, now the ebay prices are going up more and more :lol. They said "Nah, ill pass, im sure Returns Bats will be out soon". Funny they are still the same people saying Keaton Returns Bats is just around the corner...yeah...

I must be in the minority. I had 2 89 bats, sold them within 3 months. Hugely disappointed- nolans batman looks far superior. I was born in 1981 too and was super excited for the 89 batman. It just looked out of place in my collection. Returns tho is an awesome artistic piece of work lifted straight from the comic books

Don't you say a few weeks that You have seen a non-proto Batman Returns figure or something like this?

Yeah fran loves a transformer as much as he loves a 89 batman. Guess it took him at least half an hour to dig that up.
Bravo chap bravo

Not a fan of the pretend abs on the 89 suit? That's the only reason I could think you'd disregard that one in favour of Returns or a Bale Batman.

As did I. That cape was impossible. I know some people somehow managed to control it but I simply couldn't do it even with tutorials.

While great looking, I just refuse to pay that much money for a cape. Can't do it.

Stock cape is great once you futz the living hell out of it. Sadly, I can't.

Still, happy with him out of the box. Still the best 1/6 figure HT has ever produced IMO.

I also prefer the sharper details on the cowl and the bat symbol on the chest, so that for me makes the returns suit an overall improvement over the '89.
Incidentally, of all the movie suits, for me the begins and return suits are tied for #1.
