Hot Toys DX Captain Jack Sparrow (Dead Men Tell No Tales)

Preordered my bloomin' Jack Sparrow as well, and used some rewards points too. Really excited for this one as I've been wanting a Jack. Like a lot of us pirates here I wasn't collecting HT at the time of the DX release, so this one is welcome!

Tempted to throw some reward points at this and lower the price but also thinking of holding on to those points until I see what SDCC brings us.

Tempted to throw some reward points at this and lower the price but also thinking of holding on to those points until I see what SDCC brings us.

Can you PO from Sideshow Collectibles without using reward points and then use the rewards points later if you want to keep the preorder and buy the figure?

$265 for all this in today's market plus being a Disney character seems very reasonable to me.

Can you PO from Sideshow Collectibles without using reward points and then use the rewards points later if you want to keep the preorder and buy the figure?

I'm not sure if you can do that but if you are unsure and do not want to pay a non-refundable deposit, you might as well pre-order from BBTS or Alter Ego, where there is no cancellation fee or NRD. I'm not sure if Timewalker Toys has an NRD but I recommend them as well.

Not unless something has changed, you can only apply reward points when the order is place, you can't modify later.

so is the costume, which looks more or less the same as the DX06. I'm not sold on this figure yet...maybe because I
have the DX06, so it feels like buying the same figure

I was just browsing the pictures and the costume is similar the DX06 has pants and this appears to have 3 quarter lengths with white underneath.
The belt and coat are different. I'm confused my self on the expression front

So the same person who done the DX15 done the done the dx06 and both expressions are very close why didn't they choose another expression instead of the smirk maybe the originally smiling face with a better likeness?
Also trim down that dam bandana and glue a real bandana to it!

I think for $265 this is well worth the money. Strangely enough that base would also look killer on Dam toys Creed figure



I prefer the Smirk on the dx06 here's mine...I'll be picking up the DX15 also

Alter Ego has a $1 NRD now, but that's nothing

How do I pay using Paypal? I only have Amex and they no longer accept that. Don't see anywhere for Paypal option?

I don't think they can offer PayPal as a payment option until they are closer to the release. I too have to find another credit card to use since they stopped using AMEX.

Yeah, can only use PayPal if the item has flat rate shipping.

Just ordered it from BBTS. I'm not even a big fan of the movie, but this figure is just way too cool to pass up.

I see two major trends:

Have DX06: This one is flawed
Don't have DX06: Thrilled

Also, Depp has gotten older. And it's starting to show. Naturally the sculpt should and does reflect that. He doesn't look like he did in the earlier films.

I ended up ordering this at BBTS. It doesn't really fit my collection but i think it looks great. We shall see.
