I think they went with the separate head option on the DX10 due to Arnolds body type

It might have look strange having a removable neck as the chest might have looked too big or the neck might not have blended with the traps very well. It's the only real logical reason i can think of. Luke being a much smaller build it's easier to get away with

None the less they could have done much better than the neck/head combo we did get on the DX10. Much like PERS it's not the idea that's the problem more so the the way the implemented it

Maybe. As I said NECA did a much better job of it with their Dutch figures, making the neck more naturally proportioned, more detailed and overall less stiff looking. I must do some comparison pics.

Thats what i meant by he wearing a shirt. It cannot look seamless as it would in other characters who wear collared shirts and jackets / much easier to hide. Also some one said about rubber body, that definitely makes sense but since dx 10 was pretty much covered a muscular non rubbered body would look equally impactful, if only the neck and head joint could be avoided. Whatever said and done,we all agree that was a pass of an effort and could be done much much better. Another such effort was jill valentine battle suit, which is one of my favourite and hottest figure ever, but she has this squeezed up neck cause of a not so rightly fitting head and neck joint.

This i completely agree. Some of my 7 inch collections are done way too good both on likeness "for that scale" and the physical sculpting and at about 20-30 dollar price range :)

Says the Iron Man fan:)

It all seriousness It needs to be something new. No Batman, Terminator, or anything done before.

Marty Mcfly would be perfect.

If we are throwing the HT rule book out of the window and basing it on something new then please be a Michael Myers '78.

I would love to see it be a Marty from BTTF but I cant see it myself.

I think HT will wait until late 2014 - early 2015 for them to release the BTTF stuff. 2015 would make sense for a release of course, if it is 2015. I want a 1/6 Hover board if it is 2015, pls. :exactly:

RoboMurphy..............................
