Hot Toys DX15 - Whats it gonna be

So on Sideshow's website in the Design and development section under Upcoming products they now have Michael Jackson "Smooth Criminal" listed. It wasn't there a month or two ago.

Anything thing it will be a DX figure? I think it might be.

If i am not mistaken, thats been there for a long time.

Hasn't officially been announced, but another board member in the DC forum mentioned that Kato told him HT were working on a Begins figure to compete with Enterbay.

If they're doing a 1/4 version at some point - that may delay almost indefinitely, a new 1/6 figure.

They have like 2 or 3 Batman Begins suits already, albeit their last one was a mess with the defective boots. They have a lot of new films coming out, with Thor 2, Cap 2, and other figures already announced and still in production. I doubt they'll make another since by that time the new Avengers 2 and Batman Superman movies will be coming out and they'll focus on what's hot as they usually do. If we do get one, it'll be a long long time and if they're making a 1/4, then it makes it even more unlikely. I'm glad I got my Toys Fair version for $300 just in case. There are Michael Jackson figures coming out soon so that's a possibility since the 03 was an MJ figure, but their Batman Returns line will probably be DX as well.

True, but I don't think any of the Marvel film sequels will be DX figures. I think they will revisit Dark Knight at some point. I just don't see it being in the next couple of years. Could be wrong though, Hot Toys has thrown us curveballs before.

By the way..

I wasn't suggesting that DX15 could be a Begins Bale.

Just that I'd love them to do one in the future.

DX15 will probably be ROTS Anakin - or Returns Batman.

Wish it was ANH Solo though..

I think 2013 has been a very slow year for HT as far as their DX line goes. It's already halfway through the 9th month of the year and yet we only had 1 DX announcement (Mime Joker), and one DX release (Joker 2.0), two if DX13 BD T800 goes out before the year ends. If I'm not mistaken, 2012 had 3 DX announcements (T800, TDKR Batman, Joker 2.0) and a lot of releases (89 Batman and Joker, Luke Skywalker, T800, and TDKR Batman).

Any one from the three of either Batman Returns, Batman Begins or Anakin (ROTS) will do nicely.

But fingers crossed that a Police Station Assault T1 T-800 will come from leftfield.

I thought Hot Toys said both Returns and Anakin were delayed until next year.

I'm starting to think DX15 will be one we won't expect.
