I really hope Batman isn't early, my budgeting revolved around coming in June 2022.

Seeing Sideshow post this unboxing made me really nervous that the tumbler is around the corner and my wallet is not ready for that.

That’s what gets me to want to buy the vehicles. They just look so cool on display with Batman next to them from the displays I’ve seen. Even though I don’t currently have the space, I want them regardless. Just difficult to want to jump in the TDK line b/c I know I’ll want ALL of them the moment I get just one lol

For me vehicles help break up the display a bit as well. It can look a bit boring with all humid figures lined up or piled in together. A vehicle attracts the eye and brings something to the display.

Batpod certainly much easier to display. Long wait for Selena to display on it though.

I finally dusted off my DX12 and got comparing him to this one. I think the reason I put this one away was how crummy the cowl looked. I ended up ordering the DX19.

The DX12 cowl was absolutely horrendous, Hot Toys never really got the cowl right on any of them so I'm hoping this DX19 will nail it so I could replace my decent, yet-still-not-there Armory sculpt.

Only reason I got him was to finally have an update to my DX02. It was my first hot toys figure when it released. Hopefully the sonar sculpt doesn’t have a silly neck like the dx02 does.
Hopefully they announce a another Joker, the height difference is going to be staggering.

The DX02 head/neck were awful, that was the last TDK figure I owned, any one since has been an improvement over that one.

I think it only works when you tilt the head down and have the eyes up to hide the neck.

I for see us DC collectors getting the shaft this year. There will be marvel and Star Wars stuff pushed out first. I’m going to guess every single dc figure will get pushed to next year. It’s already been 1 and no cyborg nor 2 pack yet.

we have the batman figures, which i can see us getting riddler, catwoman on top of the teased batman figure. maybe a penguin if they sell well. we also have flash/1989 bats/affleck bats. i know it’s all batman. but hope is on the horizon…

i’m still holding out for a HT phoenix joker, maybe a TF exclusive or something like that. (i recent caved and bought the toys era version) plus the 3rd party market has been better than ever lately.

also the batgirl movie with keaton, a potential joker 2, batman sequel/universe…

Noob question here:

Is this figure confirmed to be taller than DX12 or is this just happy guessing by everyone.
I have the DX 12 and the Armory Bats and really cannot see any significant difference to the DX 19 proto pics.

Yes, new taller body. If you look up the DX12 on Sideshow it's listed as 30.5cm, DX19 and new Begins Bat's are both 32cm.

Since the figure is including the sonar head and the sticky gun it should have included the backpack cape that he uses in Hong Kong before jumping from the building as well.

I figured those accessories are there for the scene when he figures out the clowns are the hostages in the prewitt building
