i love my ED! anyone else notice that the back part of the leg, the leg extender part, will pull out of the main body of the leg rather easily?
when ED arrived his right leg was in 2 pieces and i immediately freaked, but it pops right back in. looks like they didn't even glue it. i pulled the other leg apart like that to see, and no glue. i kinda like it. i can display my own "battle damaged" version lol.

had the exact issue - the glue on mine had "snapped" but it was a clean brake. Just plugged it back in and I'll get round to gluing it.

Congrats mook, knew you'd love it. These kinds of figures don't come around very often, this guy took nearly 20 years!

love my fig. he is truly massive. Funny thing is i snapped his legs on the wrong way and when i tried to unplug em, the leg joint snapped!!! i freaked!! thankfully superglue did its miracle and now you cant even tell that any damage was done.

Can someone quickly let me know what way the legs go?!

Is it so that both the white signs face inwards and the red signs face otuwards?

Also, are the feet on ball joins? Can they move? They look like that are but I don't want to force them and snap them! :monkey2

I know the toes don't move.

By the way, this thing is frickin' amazing! :monkey5

Oh mama that ED 209 is awesome looking... oh please let there still be some after the first of the year!!!

Mine arrived a couple of days ago. Still have to unpack it though. I took a short first glimpse, and must say, wow, incredible level of detail! Really looking forward to getting this one out of his box.

Wow! All I can say is WOW! I got mine yesterday and it is the best thing I have bought all year.:chew

Agreed BadMoon, I can't believe how AWESOME and HUGE this thing is! For all those naysayers out there complaining that it's not really 1/6, just stand it next to your 1/6 HT Robocop and you'll be blown away! I still can't believe I finally have a highly detailed 1/6 ED-209 in my collection...It'll definitely turn a lot of heads. This thing is INCREDIBLE!!! Now, bring on that 1/6 Power-Loader and Cain Hot Toys...They'd be KILLER!!! :D :D :D

Congrats to Hot toys as well. I have never really paid any attention to them in the past. I assure you though I will in the future. Next pay I will be on the lookout for the Robocop figure. :D

Had a good look at ED209, and I'm blown away; Fantastic! To bad I can't assemble it, because, once assembled, it's pretty hard to take it apart again, right? I also wonder about putting the 'legs' on the 'body'... The peg on the leg need to go all the way in the hole/socket? Is that easy to do? I imagine you have to push really hard to get the thicker ball part of the peg into the socket??

PsychoCenobite, guess you have figured it out by now, still, the feet are on ball joins. They wiggle around nicely!

Not really - mine went together pretty easy. Certainly alot easier than Robocop himself did.

And even then, Robocop's limbs are very easy to assemble. The problem is with the head and that shifty neck joint. It took me nearly 20 minutes to attach the head because not only did it keep slipping but I was mindful not to break the shoulder rings.

I haven't assembled my Robocop (he needs to stay in the box, and I was afraid I couldn't get the parts apart again), but I tried the HT Alien warrior. I had to push quite a bit to get his leg into place. I also had to pull hard to get it back off. Looking at the sockets of ED209's leg joints, they seem pretty stiff. I just don't want to break the beauty, once I have the room to display it and I can go ahead assembling it.

It took some doing to get the legs in but nothing too terrible. Just make sure when you put the legs on that the red is on the outside and the white is on the inside of the legs.
