No updates on this I assume? I was really hoping to see some prototypes at the Supanova Convention this weekend in Australia (where Hot Toys indicated that they would exhibit), but only their official distributor exhibited, and just had in-stock items on show, not upcoming figures.

Credit goes to March Mello for the photos.

 The hoses and pegs look exactly the same as the original mold, which means they WILL break, all of them. I'll be the guinea pig and order one when it comes out. Hopefully they did something to fix this issue, if not I'll see what I can do to fix it.

I'm smelling a repeat of ED-209, only worse. :ohbfrank: I wonder if Mod Podge or Honda grease will work on those hoses. :slap :lol

All this talk about the hoses on the back of the 'loader (which, let's face it, a trip to a plumbing or electrical supplier, a few quid and a pair of wire cutters could probably replace) and not one mention of those terrifying and awful-looking rubber arms on Ripley?

It's not that no one has mentioned it, it's just that you didn't go back and read all 33 other pages. Many have mentioned the arms and I think at this time we just want a preorder and than the real uproar about the arms will begin again.

Pretty sure the whole mold is exactly the same, warts and all. It's just a really, really good repaint.

I wonder if she'll go up for pre-order soon or not. I'm more interested in the version from Alien but it'd be nice to see either version go up.

I wonder if the Power Loader will even be available. Could just be the old one, painted up nicely for display only. I could see them just making a couple of Ripley figures.

The display place card had "w/ power loader" though so.

Oh good. Carry on, then :lol

What the hell is up with Hot Toys and their rubber fixation? There seemed to be a good year or so when they cut it out of their design process almost entirely - it's what persuaded me to finally get into collecting them, in fact - and now it's back? :slap

So why did Hot Toys show these Ripley figures and Returns Batman at SDCC and the various summer shows again? What was the point?
